All good points. And I do agree with you the spiders web and variegated Fatsia side by side lessen the impact of either plant. That canna at the end is really nice though, I have not seen that one here in the US. I think the next variegated plant to get is a Trachy - if you can find one.

Cheers. The annoying thing is I had chance to buy a variegated Trachy about maybe 8 years ago for £120 and I didn’t buy it as it was only about a foot high. Big mistake. A garden you can visit near London has one that I see last year that has been planted out for many years. I didn’t actually like it but I still wanted it. 😂

Hi, I’m really enjoying watching your videos. They’re very informative. Seeing your garden plus your advice & tips is helping me a lot with my own never ending tropical garden projects. I hope you can upload some more soon! As I’ve nearly watched all of them. 🤣🌴🌿 Happy gardening!

Thank you. I have a few more planned to do soon. I’m just finishing a couple of projects in the garden first. Also I have a couple of garden tours planned so hopefully they go ahead. Any questions feel free to ask. Cheers.

Great plants to consider. For low ground cover & extra varigation this year I added variageted vinca major. They say it can get out of control growing but I put it in some heavy shade & it’s growing nicely but slow.

I am trying to create a tropical garden in kent, but i dont have a greenhouse or the space to bring much into the house over winter, I do have a shed but no windows, is there anything you would recommend I have ferns, cordylines, and a few varieties of banana plants and also a few quite big fatsia is there anything that I'm missing that could stay out overwinter with fleece?

Hi. If you look through some of the videos on my channel of my Garden I’ve done a few videos on Evergreen plants that can stay out all year. About 70-80% of my garden stays out all year here in Peterborough East Anglia. I hope it helps.
