WOOHOOO!! I just used this to unlock a ZTE Maven 2 -- worked like a charm!!! Dude, you are THE BEST!! By the way, I was also having trouble downloading the Test DPC apk (later I learned that my phone required TWO fingers to scroll the screen, duh), so I downloaded the apk on another device and copied it to a micro SD card. Then put the card on the phone and continued following the instructions :-)

OK I'm always seeing this "how to bypass google account". Just curious about the reason/reasons to bypass a google account to begin with. Or I guess what I mean is, is there other reasons besides the reason you mentioned in this video? Are there things you can't do because of a google account? For example if u have a google account on your phone can u only download apps from google play? If so, a person might only want to get apps from Amazon & therefore one would have to bypass google 1st? Hope that makes sense. I don't know how any of this stuff works LOL. [I don't have a smart phone but as we all know we are all practically being forced to get them. (I'm thinking of getting this phone.) Since I know NOTHING about smart phones, I was just curious of the purpose of a google bypass.] I'm VERY clueless about this stuff. THANKS.

makre sure you are using CHROME and not GOOGLE to download, onece it starts and does not let you open the file, go back to "google bar", type file then open filemanager, open the apk and done
