I agree Variety is the most fun in this game. I can't stand 5 and 6 star lobbies because this is lacking. it's almost exclusively long ammo bolt actions or its shotgun slug and uppercut. it really has made the game a good bit unfun and leads me to try and drop my MMR constantly to get some more fun and variety.

Completely agree, it's what has made me take an extended break from this game, when you break into 6 star lobbies, you end up frequently seeing the same players with the same load outs with exactly what you described. The game becomes stale and just a sweatfest for no reason.

Sort of. What happens is you can hear RIGHT before Hornet opens the door that the dude starts the fuse of a Choke. He doesn't just equip it, he holds down his left click and plays that clickclick hisssssssss noise. He does that to bait out Hornet to push during what SHOULD be a locked animation of throwing the choke bomb. But what he actually does is immediately swap onto a fire bomb the moment the audio cue of the choke plays out. While I haven't tested this, I'd wager that if this was intended, it would've been discovered and mastered by 6* players long before now. And I'd also wager that if it was intended it would work on all timed fuse throwables and not just choke bombs. I would absolutely call this an exploit but I don't think Crytek should be punishing people that use it unless and until they make an official announcement regarding the exploit.

@@Spaceman5pff if you put it that way, this exploit would only be beneficial to instant damage throwables, like hellfire, molotovs, poison grenades and stickies, or fused explosives if there’s any fire nearby for instant detonation. Not justifying the use of exploits, I’m just saying it’s really limited to specific consumables you can use offensively/defensively, for discussion sake regarding this cheap animation cancel.

@@Nanoc. as far as I know it is only possible with chokes anyway. Haven't tested. I'd be shocked if it was intended though. It violates every precedent for use of sound cues set by Hunt overall.

@@Spaceman5pff It's Crytek's fault. If they know about the exploit, they just have to fix it. The game is a program, and if that program is well structured, there should be no exploits of any kind. Get it fixed and done. It is not the fault of the players that the developers do not know how to make a good structure in the game algorithm.

Basically how the cancel throw thing works is... most people use a macro to replicate it 100% of the time but they basically switch to the item they wanna fake you with and as they use it they scroll to what ever they wanna use for real. So in that case he would have his Firebomb on item slot 1 and his chokes of tool slot 4. Select choke, use the macro to left click scroll down and you hear him start the choke and then he's already switched. It can be done with general scrolling but its harder to replicate. I cannot do it as I have scrolling keybinds changed entirely.

Rachta has a performance guide video. I recommend. I run an older rig, gtx 1070 and such. I was miserable b4 I lowered all the right settings. Still looks good and plays great now. Biggest boost in performance for me was turning off Steam in-game overlay. It can be annoying to have to alt-tab out for things... but I get a 20-30 fps+ with it off.

@@buddylake1824 Well I know, but I fixed it few times somehow, don't remember how exactly... I think I uninstalled and installed again battle eye, once?? Don't remember the antycheat again, sorry 😅 Try steam files verification and reseting your router can be crucial (unplug it entirely, wait 10 minutes, plug it again and you're ready to go). More advanced, add TCP and UDP ports in your internet and port forwarding I believe it's called, for crytech. Try reinstalling, or go into beta option on hunt on steam and select different version. You can also try adding it as an exception to your firewall. See of antycheat is properly working and turned on - press WIN+R, type MSCONFIG, go to SERVICES i suppose, check box - hide all microsoft services, find antycheat and if it's ticked it is turned on. You can also reset config file of Hunt Showdown - there are yt tutorials, out there. Wait for the update, do a support ticket or call them, if you have the option. Change region to a different one in config file. Uninstall game on your pc, then install the game on different device, and then install on your computer again. (that once helped me). I strongly recommend doing a support ticket if reinstalling won't help. 🧐👌 I hope that the game gonna work for U in the near future, because they announced a new event! 🤩

@@buddylake1824 oohh almost forgot. I got this error after a match, when I saw my teammates playing it, like no problem. So I verified steam files and changed region in game, then went back to europe. It worked again after that. Sometimes it's just a bug.
