Chinese Junhui doesn't care about image and tries everything to smash it 😂😂😂 I wonder if they have a separate stylist for china activities. I don't get why they mess around with Jun's beautiful eye brows and even his hair... get him his stylist from japan, she/he is the best.

regarding the stylist: idk if it's true but I heard from somewhere that China recently banned or made it taboo for the "flower boy image" to continue in idols. This is why in Idol Producer had it's name changed to Youth Be With You (so it would have a new image) and why a lot more of the trainees in that season had natural hair colors and less flamboyant clothing and makeup. Once again, I could be totally wrong!

@@jaxxi9036 Basically they felt like young men were becoming too "feminine" and it was apparently hurting China's image, as it is the youth/ the future generation that is portraying this "flower boy image". They wanted to ensure that the traditional masculinity is preserved, so they banned it. As fo homophobic reasons- China has censorship around LGBTQ+ materials, especially in dramas. However, I wouldn't be surprised if there were some homophobia laced in the reasoning for making the "flower boy image" a taboo. Afterall, some of my family members (I'm Chinese Taiwanese), do associate the "flower boy image" to homosexuality unfortunately.
