Mr Manoj, your video about JD Caterers at Chennai was very interesting. It once again proved that the wedding catering by Brahmin caterers with several Indian items is a unique experience to savour. I must mention here one fact. For my first daughter’s wedding at SESHADRI Mahal Coimbatore on AUG 26th 2002, I had arranged catering by a Mumbai based South Indian caterer RONAK CATERING. They came all the way in their own vehicles from Mumbai/ Chennai Branch. They brought their staff and utensils. The invitees of Coimbatore said that the night dinner buffet arrangement was most unique at that time in CBE.For my second daughter’s wedding on FEB 5th, 2003, at Subramania Samaj Chembur, Mumbai, again the same RONAK Catering was arranged which was already famous in Mumbai.

@@tedschwartz2142 ... Ok, let me explain it to you. When you make the dough and pour it through idiyappam press and then steamit, it is idiyappam. When you steam the dough first and then press it through sevai press (sandhavai press) it is sevai. Whereas raw rice is used in one, parboiled rice is used in the other. They are NOT one and the same.
