One thing that I really admire about IT is that even though it was a horror film, it was able to capture emotions from all genres such as drama(sadness), romance, comedy, and others and I think it really doesn’t get enough recognition for how amazing of a film it was
@shambhavisharma25924 жыл бұрын
Never agreed to something more. I read the book as the movie came out ( and I'm a Coulrophobic so... 😅) But even though the book and the movies terrified me, they made me feel SO MUCH MORE. I laughed, cried, danced, shouted, awww-ed and even sang whilst both the movies progressed and it was much more than "a horror flick". Also the representation of Richie was GENIUS, he broke all kinds of stereotypes... He was a trash mouth, a joker, and later in the movie we saw a much more deep side of him AND he was gay!!! like how in the world can you imagine that? ... The casting was beyond perfect not just of the adult losers club but of the kid losers club, it was so great. And pennywise gave me nightmares for months (well I am still traumatized) but the end where IT became SO small gave me so much courage, it was a message that couldn't be said enough times, you need to face the horror to ler go of it... And I loved young bev(sophia) and young bill's(jaeden) romance, it was so pure and innocent. I can't believe how well the movie was put through, it's gonna be in my heart FOREVER.

When I saw the first chapter, I was hoping for Jessica Chastain for Adult Beverly, Chris Pratt for Adult Ben and James McAvoy for Adult Bill. Two out of three ain't bad I guess. But I was the happiest with the casting of Chastain. I was so happy with the first movie I was nearly crying after the movie was done.
@jadesmediacorner5 жыл бұрын
Same here. I’ve loved the book for so long and to see such a beautiful adaptation of the work was so surreal. I cant even tell you how many times I cried watching it just because they captured the characters and the heart so well. It really was a phenomenal film and I cannot wait to see how they handle the cosmic elements from the end of the novel and what they do with the adult chapter.
@jadesmediacorner5 жыл бұрын
I also say this to everyone I talk to about the movie, but the scarier scenes in the film genuinely had me in a fit of panic every single time, mainly the Georgie scene. It was so jarringly scary for me and really got me on a level I never could have anticipated. Like I knew it would be violent and terrifying the moment I saw it had an R rating, but it was horrifying. And all the different forms it took were amazing and truly scared me in ways I never thought it would. I was so happy with it.
