@@kast3059 Great point! Something that really surprised with Mad Men, is the dislike some critics seem to have for January Jones. As far as I can remember, they thought that although she was great in the show, she is not a great actress in general. *To all the people upset by his interjecting and interrupting (whether you are commenting about it or not).* I *hate* being interrupted rudely and talked over. By men or women. But especially by a certain type of man, for certain types of reasons. I'm a mature woman with a lot of experiences. I'm *not* an apologist for *dicks.* Only aim for even handed sensibility. I am glad I didn't get offended or even bothered by his manners, and watched the whole video. *Very glad.* Here's my two and twenty cents on the topic: Yes, it's good to be alert and aware of these things while we work with dedication (to one another and for our own well-being), and shift social dynamics that haven't served any of us optimally. We are better off careful about excessive judgement or making any false accusations in generalizing. People who can come around won't when we put them on defense. Takes diplomacy. So that's my stance in general terms on topic. As for here in this case? He may have had an off day, and might not be a serial offender in terms of disrespect. I think she was a lot more alert and aware in her presence and attuned to the setting and to the conversation, and his manners were not on a par with hers. He was excited in an almost endearing child-like way. I didn't get the overbearing "I'm the man and you're just a woman" vibe that I am all too familiar with. I hope it was merely an off day for him (as far as exercising better conversational manners), due to his being excited to see her -since they are real friends with history and it's been awhile since they got to connect face to face. And I'm hoping he has a lot of better days in general when it comes to more even back and forth with listening and making inquiry, when talking with women in general. I don't know, or know him. But she does. And I don't get the sense that she is merely covering for him, while being professional and gracious, and don't get the sense that she doesn't feel respected by him. They did crazy comedic intimacy scenes in Bridesmaids. She co-wrote Bridesmaids and I bet had a say in casting to a fair degree. Also doubt Apatow would have brought him on board if he was not a team player with women, on *that film.* Apatow has a rare kind of marriage with Leslie Mann, and is one of the respectful men.
