For someone who lost both his parents by the age of 20, with no real siblings and very little money, Jon Hamm has come along way. An extremely humble person too..A true inspiration!

Its funny how we love watching these complex, flawed, or criminal characters, when in real life we would want to avoid the Don Draper’s, Walter White’s, and Tony Soprano’s of the world after talking to them more than 10 min. But they do make for good television.

for me, the thing with Mad Men is, there is barely not one mediocre character. They had all a specific meaning and an important role in one or another moment of the series, and the actors were able to perform all of them just in a sulbime way. I truly think you can enjoy every single episode -and discover new and interesting details if you rewatch.

Oh for SURE...Its almost spooky the details I'm picking up on through subsequent viewings. Even the BIT PARTS of the show and the actors that played them can all take great pride in the roles they played...The extras too! Madmen is a great novel that is obviously not read, but probably should be viewed as part of the great literary canon of Western Civilization or at least AMERICAN history.

When Betty says ‘Don Honey...’ it completely reminds me of Michele Williams saying ‘Honey’ to Casey Affleck in Manchester by the Sea. There is something so heartbreakingly poignant about past loves using familiar loving language.

He seems like such a thoughtful and gentle person. What an incredible talent. I just realized how amazing it would be to see GQ or something similar do a series for other artists as well. A director series would be amazing. An author one, not only about their books but about film projects of their books that they were involved in.

I can't imagine a blue button down dress shirt would have yellow cuffs. I think the grey cardigan came with yellow cuffs stiched on it as a way to make a mature Mr. Rogers style sweater (not knocking the cardigan or Mr. Rogers. Love em both) look more fun, preppy , stylish, and colorful. Feels like something I'd see in GQ. It's pretty cool . I've owned alot of sweaters & shirts with sewn in cuffs, and its great for layering or just making your usual outfit look a little different. I didn't even notice it until you said something but he gave us a talking point lol.

Sometimes makers of trendy dress shirts sew a different color or pattern fabric on the inside cuff so when it’s rolled there is a different pop of color. It looks a little confusing with the cardigan over it but it’s quite common.
