Everything about her is calming- her voice, her cadence; her mannerisms. So elegant and a worthy woman!

@@TruthOnly24 She is a Native American woman who carries hundreds of years generational experience and history of mistreatment and "almost" genocidal treatment of her people on her shoulders which forms her world views. Which she uses in her career to teach non-believers. What do you have to share with the USA and Canadian people both Native and Anglo and Migrant Americans and Canadians? You are typically boring. Entertaining is an illusion; Lily knows they difference between reality and illusion because of her background.

@lesliewoolniygh7871 say that VA are going to use () MDA () the illegal street drugs on all veterans. So they are creating a need of (Black market MDA) What I do not understand is obiden and Trump giving everyone thousands of dollars except Homeless Vets. Now all you hear on news is call and get you a 6k stimulus check? And who are these people getting these checks.,? And have they not been giving all this free money to veterans? They bail out Billionaires with trillions of dollars, they print imaginary money to give to congressmen who threaten to shut the usa down..then congress uses all that free cash to buy stock. Then put on News that the stock market is booming into a sharp Bull. When really people are starving? And the government obiden to giving 14,ooo stimulus free money to certain people while other people are starving? All because his children and he is indicted????

It is extremely sad to think -concerning the movie, that secret society Mason whether racist or otherwise could act in a manner that the german Hitler would up scale model to be more efficient add gas chambers. As an actor LGladstone did an excellent job. The character -How does a person and in general population act when they whole community is being drugged with out their knowledge. The one character said he felt funny he called it melancholy :: a feeling of pensive sadness, typically with no obvious cause. "an air of melancholy surrounded him" Their was close to 500000 murders during that time frame. Short time the population of the natives dropped 2200 how crazy is that. And the masonic lodges are still in the town. How crazy is that. All those billions stolen from all Americans even today the usa is so broke that Congress threatens that If they don't get a raise- they will quit and the government will shut down... How many of them are MASONS? THIS movie is not well researched but there was enough for the 3 hr+30min . Keep In mind it would really take 20 hours of movie to even get close to showing 20 % of all the Masonic murders that seem to be tied as task masters in this historical and current part of the American down fall. Good job mr. Scorsese mr.Deniro Mr Decapiro, Mrs. Gladstone. And all the other not to mention the local s.

Wow. As a proud Crow/Piikani Blackfeet woman, sitting here watching this I feel like I’m watching something historical happen here. She’s doing something for us that so many have tried so hard to do. & on their shoulders of course, thank you for emerging as a new impactful leader for us. You’re paving ways, Lily, and opening doors that have been sealed shut or hidden away for so many generations. Not just that but for you to do it as a Native WOMAN, it just means so so much.

I'm glad Lilly framed Leo's approach to the charactor the way she did, because the bottom line is he always draws alotta attention to the subject matter. Most knew nothing about this story, before this movie, but Scorsese's collaboration with Leo, Robert & Lily demanded our attention.

Sat in tears watching this incredible woman speak the heartbreaking truth about native women’s plights. Thanks to Leo and the film for giving their story this platform. I hope with everything I have that this leads to a strengthening of their protection and that the laws are created to achieve this soon. What kind of ignorance allows this. Shameful, barbaric reality happening in the USA. Change must come. Sending my love and wishes to Lily and all the native women suffering this torture. You are incredible xxx

Of course if they have to pick a man to be there it be Leo! Loved him my whole life not just as a actor but a human being. There’s just a realism with him that goes beyond his art. He truly wants to do something impactful and he always puts himself 100 percent in his roles. I can’t say I ever hated any of the movies he’s been in because he always kills it every time so of course I’ll be seeing this! I saw the trailer and I was like 😮 woah I gotta see this. Haven’t even seen it and I’m already also really liking Lilly Gladstone. I look forward to her career blossoming. I’m glad they are sharing the truest story of a historical event because it’s time for the Native Americans to have their story told and with accuracy. I know they have trusted many Hollywood directors that didn’t do a good job of telling the truth. This time that we are living in is all about the narrative shifting, let’s tell everyone’s story not just a white males perspective. We need everyone to be heard!

Leo is not afraid to take on ugly parts for a movie that lets others around him shine. It’s something I’ve always respected of him as an actor. As for Lily, her place in history brings light on two nations - the Osage, who were the subject of the Killers of the Flower Moon, and the Blackfeet, who are her own people. So grateful she was recognized for her work, and that she is willing to acknowledge the efforts of others to get the story across.

Honestly, I have yet to finish FOTKM. Not because of its length but the visceral pain it elicits watching a systematic massacre of a gentle people - doubly horrific because it is based in fact. Still, I keep returning but have to stop midway. This film has real power, beauty and brutality. Gladstone's presence, spirit and performance conveys authenticity and skill in its simplicity and depth.

So that's how you pronounce Osage! First time hearing it spoken, I thought it was O-sa-gee. Haven't had an opportunity to see the movie yet though I know the backstory. I was talking with my aunt about it a couple months ago and she was trying to correct me on the tribe, I don't even know what she was saying or if it was a real tribe but she kept trying to correct me, it was very annoying. We ended up watching American Buffalo together and I found out my aunt didn't know anything at all about what was done to the buffalo or the Native peoples. I was truly shocked as I learned about all of that in school. For context I'm in my early 30s and my aunt is in her late 60s. Crazy how much times have changed. I'm very glad we now have a very Native American focused education, we learn about all our local tribes, colonial/Indigenous relations, and about the slaughter and rounding up of the Natives and the buffalo. I would guess these days they also mention those horrible schools as well. We still have a long way to go but we have come so far in how we educate about and treat our Indigenous siblings. I'm so glad this movie and this incredible woman are getting so much attention!
