Sorry, I disliked this comment in error initially. I've commented that point a few times on interviews. We *want* to hear the details and thought processes of actors, it's part of the fun! I honestly wish this would happen with a lot of celebrities but yeah, especially Pedro Pascal. The amount of people defending the “daddy” culture as if Pedro should be grateful because that’s all he’s getting in terms in fame and celebration in the comments, is honestly upsetting. They need to let hat joke go, and let Pedro express how he feels about his career and history without it being filled Daddy shit. I guess I’m the only one here who had season 2 of “The Last of Us” spoiled by the interviewer. Pedro did a wonderful job of deflecting and trying to protect the fans of the show.

YES SAME!! HUGE SPOILER!! I had no idea, and the interviewer dismissed it so much and then didn’t even give us a moment to pause or skip the spoiler 😡

And it wasn’t even for a good question. Of course he can’t talk about what’s going to happen in the show!

He didn't spoil season 2, as no one knows what season 2 will be. The video game is out there.and has been out for years. Its not some massive secret ehat happens in the game. The writer already said he has the discretion to not follow the game exactly how it plays out.

Yeah, I'm not a gamer either and I don't follow what's happened in it. So this guy saying Joel dies in game 2 and then asks Pedro if he's gonna die in season 2 was like, Whaaaaat. The. Heck. Did he really expect Pedro to give that up? 😒

What a great Variety interview done with Pedro! I really enjoyed this interview. I watched it solely because of my interest in The Mandalorian but I also really enjoy hearing Pedro talk about his acting career and love for other films and actors. He's just a class act and has become one of my favorite actors nowadays. From what I've learned that he's been involved in filming most of it is my cup of tea!

This was an amazing interview! When he said, I call it Gladiator 2 Electric Boogaloo?! I laughed so loud! He referenced Breakin’ 2 Electric Boogaloo. All you young 20-somethings; Look it up! It was SO niche! SO 80’s. Ugh! 😂. I remember watching Breakin’ 2 on HBO back in the 80’s. I admire his humility, fanboy moments while also articulating his side of things, so truthfully & intelligently.

I really wish you had taken a pause for a spoiler alert! This is a wonderful, intelligent interview that I truly enjoyed, up until around 14 minutes in. I didn't finish it because I was nervous about hearing too many other season 2 spoilers. As a strictly show-watcher, not a game-player I hadn't heard that part of the story. Please consider pausing the interview and giving a spoiler alert, so people have a chance to choose whether or not they hear about a major plot point. 💔

Loved this interview - so chilled and conversational / not forced. Could listen to movie related chat for days. The 28 Days Later section just made me wish there was more chat about Top 10. Relatable, humble and fun/playful - long may the Pascal era continue 🎉
