Yeah well and he also knew that this wasn't a real jury duty. It would be completely illegal to give a course of order to be sequestered under the threat of arrest for contempt of court unless you actually have the authority of the California government. Would have been illegal for them to give him any fake government documents to sign. Or use any government letterhead. So at the very least he knew this was not a real court and that the sequestration order was not actually a legitimate governmental order. And that does take some of the fun away from the show but people need to think logically about this for 30 seconds
@chloe.2189 Жыл бұрын
@@michaelcorcoran8768there are ways to get around this, and clearly they did, because i do genuinely believe ronald didn’t think it was faked (to the extent it was)

@@michaelcorcoran8768 yeah ... I just completed a week of jury duty on an attempted murder case and there was NO request for my ID (I just showed up and said "I'm Juror #X") and I didn't have to sign anything. Supposedly, I "registered" online, but if I hadn't shown up they probably wouldn't have done anything to me ... the judge said about 1/3-1/2 of those called don't even report for jury duty.

I just KNOW the producers were biting their nails when Ronald said stuff like 'this is like a reality show', especially knowing it had been weeks at this point. Because how do you hear that and then not get hurt when the truth is revealed?
