the way their compliments were so concise and insightful - and how genuinely touched both were when the other picked up on the deliberate, conscious, intentional acting choices and interpretation of their respective characters - made this so endearing to watch. like it's always great to hear compliments but when they talked about character portrayal and their interpretation / analysis you can really see them light up, delighted that their intentions came through in their acting. recognition and acknowledgement, especially from another fellow actor, who perhaps is in the best position to do so and appreciate it. that's such a joy.

Actually; Stanley Tucci is Emily's brother in-law. He met Emily's sister Felicity Blunt when he attended Emily's wedding to John Krasinski in 2010. However he was initially a bit reluctant to start dating again because it had only been a few months since his first wife Kathryn had died from breast cancer.

I know Nolan deserves ALL the praise in the world (I’m a huge fan too) but I can’t wait to see a conversation between two men talking for minutes about how great a woman director is. 💜

You can find many of those online, there are many great female directors out there that actors praise - Kathryn Bigelow one example. Not that it matters, a great director is a great director, doesn't matter if their male or female.
@natbatrat-d7e11 ай бұрын
@@GreenFalcon926it shouldn’t matter, but the fact that only two women won the academy award for best director (and only seven were nominated) makes it matter. the first time two were nominated in the same year was 2021, almost a hundred years after the first academy awards ceremony. yeah, it matters.

i love this...not only do i love Devil Wears Prada like everyone...but this conversation really flows...they are true friends and speak on the same level. but hearing Hathaway, treat Blunt like a huge star before she got so huge....it makes you feel really good. i love them both.

I love their conversation and love them both. Devil Wears Prada is definitely in my top 5 best movies of all time - pretty much perfection of a film imo. Got a kick out of the dramatic "half-opened mouths' that was the photo-shoot at the beginning of this video. I am sure if either of them watched that - they would be ripping each other to shreds (in a funny but scathing way). Oh I would pay to see that - them watching each other be 'alluring' for the photo shoot and commenting. 🤣
