m it's far from awesome . Sad because it's an unhealthy engine.

That deltic ain't right, and yes stuff builds up in the exhaust after idling and yes it's two stroke and yes it's under load and yes it's on bunker fuel (yes someone actually said that) and yes it's old but it should not be putting out that much of that colour. Same goes for the EWS 37, engine problems Same goes for the large logo 37, sounds awful and belching black smoke (and please don't mention they do this "before the turbo spools up")

The large logo 37 is 906 it’s always sounded like that as it has a Ruston engine instead of the English electric engines most other 37s have

@@joedoran6994 the way it smokes, not really the sound but it does explain a few things

well said.

@@steveluckhurst2350 if you look at 0:58 you can see the difference in the two engines, the front engine is in trouble, belching out acrid white/blue smoke whereas the rear engine is normal, expelling the normal blue haze. Anybody saying the front engine is normal needs their head looking at as much as the front engine needs looking at lol

@@bonkeydollocks1879 I find it astonishing that so called enthusiasts get so excited about "clag" (although there is no clear definition of it), when it is obviously being emitted by a sick engine . If a diesel car did that, it would be taken off the road.
