This is the time for pruning is right. You can see the bone structure really well then. Nice work on these trees. They will reward you in the spring.

Did you over winter the ginkgo tree seeds? That usually works. Need the cold to sprout. I have one sprouting from Dave of the seeds he gave me.

I didn’t cold stratify. I got great germination rate with my large leaf variety. The one seed that germinated from a tree in Berkeley, CA was a surprise. Good luck with your Ginkgo.

Hi Scott. I have not tried to root Ginkgo cuttings. I will try it one day I’m sure.
