Nice looking trees, Steve. Always prep work to be done for the winter months. That little pine would make a nice bonsai Christmas tree with some mini lights around the pot.

Suppose wait until all leaves have turned color before cutting anything! Not a single leaf need be still green when u prune in fall. Otherwise u taking energy away and hurting the tree right b4 winter. Don't take my word for it, do ur research!

What do you apply to the cut branch?

I’ve used a number of different things to seal fresh cuts, and I’m still evaluating what works best for me. So far I’m liking plain old rubber cement, which is what I use throughout this video.
