Thank you for reminding me what "proudly South African" feels like!!! And man, it feels great! We live in an amazing country filled with amazing people, cultures and diversity. South Africa has been through a lot, we must never forget our journey and what makes us so uniquely South African. We can sometimes forget this when all we see in our newsfeeds is negativity. I never thought that a 3 minute video could have such a profound impact on me! Tears for days! Thank you NMMU Choir for reminding us how great South Africa is! What an honour it is to be a part of this choir - a choir embodying so much more than any one of its members, its conductor and even the music it performs. The NMMU Choir Breathes Ubuntu. This performance will forever stand out as a highlight in my life - a spiritual experience if I have ever had one. We shared both the outer and innermost spaces of our beings on that stage, and it resulted in a spontaneous outburst of emotion off stage.
