This was the decade of stories set up in smaller towns and they sort of drove a major part of the narrative of the film. Varanasi is a primary character in Masaan and Ranjhana. Parineeti Chopra started the decade with bang but lost the steam mid way. Tapsee Pannu, Bhumi Pednekar, Yami Gautam, Ileana all of them did some good films. Seema Pahwa has become the most important character in all the movies that came post Aankho Dekhi.

Tishu wanted to make the whole movie(PST) what he said I don't remember the exact technical nuances of it, but he wanted to show it like a wide bigger picture something shooting with particular lens and such mm screen, imagine how it would have enhanced the experience of watching that movie in the theatre and even in our homes.
