Excellent video from any point of view. Great way to advertise a knife that does it all. I wish you guys would do like a 'premium/limited edition' version of your knives with wooden handles - and obviously the extra cost that I would be willing to pay for. I did fall in love with the "no bullshit" concept for the Terävä series but I am just not a fan of the plastic handle that we cannot remove - I take it this is to ensure maximum resistance so once again, fair point, but it's just a turnoff for me. Definitly getting my hands on the next batch of handle-less/sheathless blades though ! Cheers guys, excellent website, love the team

Arvosanaksi 5/5.
@juusstube10 жыл бұрын

Any thoughts on sharpening? I understand there are two bevels, 25 degrees for carving by the handle and 34 degrees for chopping along the rest of the blade. I’d normally use water stones

@varusteleka9 жыл бұрын
+Steintanz Actually yes, there might be such a chance, something along those lines has been thought about. Hopefully we´ll have something more to tell soon...
@MACV-Justice8 жыл бұрын
For the size of blade and with everything the blade was designed to do, the one-and-a-half grip is perfect and well thought out. It allows for different grips, more versatility and ease of use. Great job and great design!
@steintanz8 жыл бұрын
Allen Jensen Thanks for your experience! I'd just prefer the exact same blade with a handle like the Terävä Jääkäripuukko has, because the complete length is a bit too much for me - and it would come very close to a modern re-make of the long tested and trusted 9" Leuku design: With the typical Leuku chopping grip (1-2 fingers behind the pommel) I bet the Skrama blade would still make an awesome tool and it would be a bit more backpacking "friendly"
@MACV-Justice8 жыл бұрын
+Steintanz, You bring up some great and valid points. A one-hand grip like my Stromeng Leuku (not necessarily the same style, but similar one-hand approach) would be nice addition for those looking for a larger blade with not so much handle. These Terava blades from Verusteleka are great, so it will be exciting to see how they continue to evolve and what they will add to their line-up.

jeremiasz rebelka The problem might also lay in eBay - Varusteleka's Paypal account was closed on the basis that it was deemed a "brand risk" for Paypal, which is the same company as eBay. If you try to order it from Varusteleka, we'll try to send it. There's likely no border control because of EU, so it's most likely to get through.
