Love MEGA. Europe has a long way to go, but it seems the tide is turning slowly. Well done Varusteleka.

Its hard to compete with china, lots of dealers choose china or vietnam because of the huge profit margins and since they earn more they have more money for marketing, same with brands. So respect for varusteleka if anyone can do it they can as they are already huge. I know I have a store of my own and its hard to compete with good brands even within our own country, because every other store sells cheap high margin crap brands

Thanks for the effort. Apart from strategic independence, it's jobs, and that's something I am happy about too. For the backpack, no idea if they do "custom backpacks for other companies" but there's a manufacturer in southern austria that makes backpacks with good value for money for decades. The company is called Essl. Maybe you already looked at them or talked to them and it didn't fit, but i thought if not, i'll mention them.

lol @ 0:15 ... so hilarious. Maybe an assault pack from Savotta in the future? Would be willing to pay higher prices for a good quality product.
@finnberglander78169 сағат бұрын
Savotta makes some great assault-sized bags; as does the in-house Sarma brand! I've got several and they're fantastic.
@residentgeardo9 сағат бұрын
@@finnberglander7816 yeah now that you mention it Savotta recently released some new bags. I'm more of a Tasmanian Tiger guy here. Unfortunately they are producing everything in Vietnam. Great kit though. But I got myself a Savotta Hatka last summer along with the Keikka harness and totally love it.

@@residentgeardo They make good stuff too; I originally picked some up at the German PX at Bagram a lifetime ago.
@KineticApplicationsGroup4 сағат бұрын
@@residentgeardo You are overpaying way too much for TT they are extremely cheap in reality there is just a huge profit margin baked into it same with many brands that produce in asia like warrior, agilite
@residentgeardo3 сағат бұрын
@@KineticApplicationsGroup You're probably right ,yeah. It's a sad fact everybody is outsourcing to Asia for bigger profit margins. All the while unemployment and dependency on foreign producers rises.

I hope we workers get the raise of +10% to our palkka, pay here in Finland. After that we would be at same level of pay as in 2021. All things are costing way more now in Finland and pay for the job must go up. Otherwise Finnish local economy will suffer even more and people will buy elsewhere than in here and on Europe. Temu all other places.
@fgm11974 сағат бұрын
That's the way to go!!!👍All this migration and the sale of our companies and our know-how to China has been going on for far too long. Unfortunately we all the end consumers are also responsible for this development. No one is willing to pay €5 more for domestic quality...I expressly exclude myself from this. I do not buy anything "Made in China"

Vietnam, while still a Commie country is at least trying to dominate the South China Sea and appears to have no goals of expansion beyond its own borders. Looks of companies are relocating production to Vietnam.
