RADIAL PULSE Sarpa gati : snake like (moving side to side- like a snake) - vata dominance; felt strongly under index finger ✓ Manduka gati : jumping pulse (like a frog) - pitta dominance; felt strongly under middle finger ✓ Hansa gati : steady uniform pulsation (like the motion of a swan on a lake) - kapha dominance; felt strongly under the ring finger ✓ The pulse felt between 2 fingers shows a hybrid, for example, between the middle and ring would be pitta-kapha. Thank you for sharing this :) Namaste 🙏

Absolutely loved this. I'm doing my yoga teacher training and I'm drinking up every bit of education about ayurveda, chakras, Indian gods and goddesses and more that I can. I want to bring so much to my students that reaches beyond the asanas and hopefully they'll realise, like myself, that yoga is way more than sun salutations. I had a wonderful teacher but her teaching of the spiritual and meditative side of yoga was limited. I'd rather have a shorter asana practice and have more time spent on meditation or educating about the benefits of ayurveda or what meditating to certain deities can bring to your life. Love and light 🧘♀️ 💜 🧘♀️ 💜

@@banyanbotanicals thanks for the link. I'm a great believer in ayurvedic medicine. Our dog had what is considered an incurable condition called anal furunculosis or perianal fistulas depending on where you're from. She did need steroids but everything else she gets is natural and I use an ayurvedic protocol for fistulas. I researched the condition in humans, it's a bit like crohns disease with fistulas. We've been extremely lucky and I'm so thankful that I had ayurvedic medicine there to help her, the vet told me that he's never seen a dogs bottom go back to 100% normal. I'm beyond grateful, she's 11 and thriving. A German shepherd called Valentine, it doesn't get much better! 😂 😂 😂

Kirsty I am an Indian🇮🇳 and i want to share my 3 year research on Ayurveda if you want to be healthy and lead a disease free life then completely stick to The Constitution/Prakriti of your Body and design your daily activities according to the Constitution/Prakriti of your body
@kirstymacfarlane16203 жыл бұрын
@@vaibhavbindra4862 thank you so much. I've done a lot of research into ayurvedic lifestyle and I'm gradually making changes. My dog had a terrible condition called perianal fistulas. It's rare, there's no cure and vets don't know a lot about it. I started researching how fistulas are treated in humans, because I was getting nowhere from an animal point of view, and it kept bringing me back to cases in India and the use of ayurvedic medicine. I got her on a protocol involving triphala guggul, turmeric, slippery elm and a few other supplements but these were the main three. She did unfortunately need steroids but she's been fistula free for over a year now and only taking half a steroid a day, which to a German shepherd is nothing. The vet said he has never seen a case where the dogs bottom has completely healed and returned to normal. He said that it's been down to me and the research I put in. The fact that ayurveda has helped my dog, cured her of an incurable condition, has put so much faith in me in this way of life. It all started with me practicing yoga at home to help my back, I'm still in pain but the difference it makes in dealing with chronic pain is priceless. I can't thank you and every other Indian person on the planet enough for bringing the wonderful gift of yoga and ayurvedic medicine and lifestyle to the rest of the world, I appreciate it so much. I've got a lot of love and respect for Indian people, you truly are amazing. My hope is that people will take a step back and appreciate yoga for what it really is instead of turning it into an exercise class with a competitive feel. I was extremely lucky with my yoga teacher in that respect and I learned a lot from her as a person. I think that's a big part of teaching yoga, is helping people on every level, not just physical. Thanks again for your comment and much love from a Scottish yogi with a knackered spine! 🧘♀️💖🧘♀️💖🧘♀️💖
