The Fake Forgiveness and how become functional in the cliche of the church alter ministry. Many people go to the alter and walk away still broken because they are not aware or have the tools to move forward in the forgiveness and healing journey. Truly enjoyed this interview.

Teach Sis! That needs to be told on this podcast and as many platforms that can reach people...I left the alter for years with a heavy heart. Willie Moore thank you so much for sharing your testimony about inner child . The Lord introduced me to that journey at the beginning of 2023.. he came to me in a dream and showed me my preteen self during that time of my life I was very broken and shattered but in the dream I saw myself whole and complete singing in the choir as a preteen. Then by the end of that year I found out some serious news about my biological identity that I did not know. Willie Moore thank you so much for bringing vashawn on the show to discuss this necessary topic.

I am so glad to see the resurgence of Vashawn Mitchell and thank you for doing this interview with him Willie!! My take away is that he is human and he pinned the songs by the experiences he's been through! I wanted to have a conversation with someone today to tell them that the reason I left is because I didn't "see" him as human. It stems back to my Daddy. I told my husband today that I likened my Daddy to God and my Mother to Jesus. Jesus I could go to but God.....nope....only if it is life or death but not for consistent relationship!! My Heavenly Father is still working on my view of Him, but pastors and parents and parents need to show themselves as human as well! I make it a point to let my children see me in failures and disappointments but also see me call upon the name of the Lord Jesus to help me overcome!! Thank you Vashawn for taking the time to do this interview and letting GOD's goodness "I shall not die but live and declare the works of the LORD!" show in and through you!!!

Vashawn is my celebrity crush I appreciated this episode because I learned things about him that I never knew. I see how his love for God has saved him grew him and he’s him to become a better man than the man he was on the road to becoming. He’s very wise probably because he’s very attentive. I love that he was able to love his dad where he was instead of trying to force his dad to be the 16 year old dad he never met. My son and his father are estranged but I tell my son to accept his father for who he is ow don’t hold onto ill feelings for the father you wanted him to be as you grew up. Yo conversation with Vashawn helped me I’m sure I’ll use his insight in my life or to help my son with his relationship with his father. Great man if God thank you for using this platform to promote love and to help others.

FAKE FORGIVENESS.... my word. That is a whole sermon. I've been there for real. You have to forgive completely. Even if the person needing the forgiveness is not physically here. We have to forgive and move on but we have to really DEAL with the issue at hand. If we do not DEAL, we never HEAL completely. Your music has changed my life. Thank you for sharing your talent. Thank you for your transparency. Thank you for calling me to do better and continue to be better. It is a journey. Counseling is an AMAZING tool even as a person of faith. GOD wants us whole and healed. We cannot operate where HE needs us if we do not operate as WHOLE, HEALED, AUTHENTIC people. I am so inspired to know that VM is from Harvey because my family history and roots are from there. I was partially raised in Harvey, Illinois. Anyone from Harvey knows that today, it is anything but inspiring, though it once was. The Dells were from Harvey and they also attended Thornton High School. Near the little league park, a street is named after the Dells. It’s called Dells Way. My family’s house was on Lexington one block away from the little league park. It was once known as the flower house because the entire front yard and side of the house were full of flowers planted by my grandmother. My dad attended Thornton High School with the Dells. He also sang with them prior to them signing to Motown. Interestingly enough I am an up and coming recording artist with music soon to be released. I am grateful for VM sharing his phenomenal music throughout the years and his amazing testimony on this podcast. Thank you Willie Moore Junior for all the awesome interviews you’re doing. God introduced me to VaShawn Mitchell in 2019. I find that I have always listened to his music. However, one morning on my way to work "Joy" came on the radio. Instant love, singing alone. Once at work, I forgot about my experience. This is when I knew God was introducing VaShawn to me. His song "Joy" played as soon as I started my car, headed back home. From that day forward I have been paying close attention to VaShawn. When I look back, "Joy" was made in 2016. How or why did it stir my spirit later in 2019. This is a great interview. Somehow, I was answering his questions before he spoke. And I answered correctly. There is something/connection that God wants. I smiled when I heard that he is my VIP. I have a confession: I normally won't get too close until the person is comfortable. There is an answer but private to him.
