ugh... i decide to decorate a room for my clan and look up decorating tutorials and i find and watch yours and it was really helpful but now i keep getting recommended your videos and they give me WAY too ambitious ideas for decorations bothe in skill and time required... subscribed.

Essentially lmao. Sculpting, for most people, is definitely not what you start learning decor with. There is also no way to really "teach" sculpting, imo. You can either give them the concepts needed to make a good first sculpt, or you can give them step by step instructions for something you've already done(like time lapse videos). Otherwise, sculpting really is a figure-it-out-as-you-go kind of deal. The more comfortable you are with figures, proportions, and general decorating, the easier it will be.

When I build, I sorta model in stages, roughly in base, large details and small details. Say body, detailing definition, and minor things

Hey man can you do a semi tutorial on the oyrx boss room. I rly rly want to make it, im not very creative as a person. But our clan name in Destiny is Taken Our Time and our clan in Warframe is Taken Our Tenno. Thought since we met on Destiny i would make the clan dojo destiny themed. Do you have any tips for how to pick decorations you are going to build with? I find it dificult to pick anythink especially when it comes to orokin theme. Or even if i dont try to build fully with orokin theme addind golden details is hard. Also do you have any go to place when looking for inspiration for stuff? I usually just try to come up with somethink 100% on my own but with sculptures i find it more and more dificult with time.

Honestly I try to find every decoration that is close to a color I want, and place one of them down next to every other decoration in that color range or shape that I want, similar to a painting palette. Then later, if I'm not sure of what to use, I already have all the possible options right there to pick from, and I try to pick from those. It's not always easy, but that's how I do it. When looking for inspiration, I think Pinterest is a great place. Lots of concept art, creatures, landscape art etc. Almost every sculpture I have done, has been from a combination of one or more pieces of art I saw on pinterest.

Gawd, I hope this will be usable on PS4. I think the controls are borked there. I wanna build a big human face, but I don't know if I have the option to switch the various pitches and rotations. I end up having to use walls to get angles I want.

You can do that on PS4, it just takes lots of work and practice. I just started a few weeks ago, I've been watching Vash ever since I started and talking with his discord people for tips. It is super simple and helpful. With some practice you will definitely get it down, no worries.
