This would only really matter if you're doing aggressive melody and buffing gun damage because Analysis Master only reduces Firearm Crit Resist. If you're in a skill-team, then it is worthless. On that same note however you can as you see in the video, as luna end the AOE early if you know the reg buff will last long enough on your teammates and pull out a gun to try and debuff the target. In this case it was python for the -toxin res effect. 2) I forgot to add an insult on the build screen so have it here instead: if you screenshot and dip, you enjoy eating cauliflower. Weirdos. I'm working on getting the update ready for the website, ideally I should have the update finished before I go to sleep today but we'll see. Worst case scenario, I finish the update tomorrow. The luna teambuffs option on the calculator is super cool though and it'll help you build out any character you want to when using a luna in your team.

Even after they make her less miserable to play, her other biggest drawback is that she's useless if the team isn't built to use her buffs effectively... so she's basically never going to be useful in PUGs, only coordinated group play. Her potential is so high but only a small fraction of the playerbase is ever going to see or benefit from it.

No, it doesn’t. You can buff either skill damage (better), either weapon damage but not both. When matchmaking with randoms you don’t know the team in advance. Don’t listen to this clown, if you know how to build and play her as AoE dealer, she’s second to the broken Freyna for mob clearing… and it’s much more fun to play.

this is such wonderful luna propaganda, thank you. while i do absolutely love her, i play her significantly less since my friends stopped playing. it was indeed amazing to blow things up tho! i have 3 builds in one (including noise surge, which i do agree about.) nimble footsteps, increased hp, battle of stamina, frugal mindset, focus on non-attri, skill expansion, long distance maneuv, spear and shield, shield conversion (mp), enlightenment, skill extension, mp accelerant. this one is most similar to yours, opting out of arche concretion (cause im a movement enjoyer) as well as taking shield conversion (mp) to have more overall hp. for me its worth having the extra survivability, personally. as you can see i value hp quite a bit. but anywho, the point of this build is to have big buffs immediately. i dont have to build concretion stacks, i just have good buffs, good range, good duration, good survivability. i will concede focus on non-attri and spear and shield are copium/hopium to try to make my ddr gun not tickle, and on the rare occasion i miss a buff, the cooldown isnt as punishing. this is the build i used with friends/premades, most of your time is spent in ddr gun mode, BUT, you have enough duration you can swap to guns if needed. i also dont think i need skill expansion but i like big circle, so. it stays. i also suggest nazeistra's devotion specifically for a luna weapon to lean even more into the support role. noise surge, increased hp, weighing the scales, frugal mindset, non-attri integration, skill expansion, long distance maneuv, spear and shield, multitalented, mp collector, singular master, amplification control. while i still very much agree with you, noise surge is bait, i have a build for it anyways that just makes do with what polarities/sockets i had. the ONLY positive i can say about it is that it will make lvling luna extremely easy as you can do the vespers farm quickly and by yourself. for that reason it does have SOME merit as lvling luna can be a pain if you arent grouped with a mobber for example. but i think its extremely silly to give up the thing luna does no one else can do (her buffs) in favor of playing a worse version of bunny or freyna. noise surge players are deranged, but this is my 'solo' luna. i built into shields bc the enhanced recovers them, and she uses shields quite well. aggressive melody, increased hp, passionate sponsor, frugal mindset, time distribution, amplification control, long distance maneuv, increased def, agony, enlightenment, skill extension, maximize duration. this is my public lobby luna. its focused on gun damage and long duration so you can buff, get passionate sponsor stacks, and then swap to gun. this is also why i opted for maximize duration instead since duration matters most on this build since you are actively weaving in and out of ddr gun mode. im sure this could be better, shot focus for example, but overall it works how i want it to, and thats good enough for me, lol. but anywho, i just wanted to ramble, i love luna, im glad you do too, even IF its a love hate lmao. this was a lovely watch. if you do happen to read all this and want to do more testing, im curious about how her buffs stack. like when you use an enhanced red for example, the effects show up around allies feet, but they ALSO still have the red orb (from an earlier non enhanced red) floating around them. so im curious just how much luna is actually buffing if BOTH buffs are applying at once if that makes sense? granted this may not even matter once her rework comes, but food for thought or w/e. i came here to watch a hailey video btw cause i finally got her and just happened to notice this and was like 'i wonder if we have come to the same conclusions.' turns out, we kinda did.

Some players already don’t stand in Ajax bubbles, OoT invasion drone wipe circles, or the various Colossi mechanic circles. So I don’t expect them to stand next to Luna😂

A team of randoms may not know how Luna works, and doesn't know if she is using aggressive melody or not. She relies on a pre made team. If she ends up on a team with another Luna, things become problematic.

This argument is just as stupid the 50th time as it was the first. You don't pick your transcendent mod based on your party, you pick it based on *the content you chose to play*. The last few colossi are all gun-based encounters, so you always take aggressive melody. If you aren't running those colossi, then you don't. This isn't rocket science. Luna is one of the least played descendants in the game. You are never going to see another Luna on a team. If that changes with her rework, it still only takes all of 2 seconds to type in the chat who you're going to concentrate on buffing. The only problem with the character right now is the difficulty of setting up and maintaining her buffs.

You're better off doing the math for yourself, or at least not relying solely on this KZbinr. He sounds convincing and swears a lot, but your second isn't the only mistake he makes. I once wasted a catalyst because he specified the wrong polarity. In the Hailey video, he didn't include the 50% Firearm ATK bonus with Zenith. And those are just mistakes I saw myself, which isn't saying much because I'm not a pro. So do the math yourself or look at multiple sources.

Well sounds like Luna is impractical for randoms because you're relying on RNG matchmaking to put you with someone who knows how Luna's buffs work and is built around the right kind of Luna (skill power vs firearm).

Yup, it’s a nightmare trying to do stuff like Deathstalker or any other colossus with her because of the rng of what ppl are using, about the only Colossus you can consistently know what a build majority of people are going to be running is Gluttony, but EVEN the she’s just not needed for the fight, same with Death Stalker, her buffs are nice in that fight too but they just aren’t needed. That’s a big frustration with trying to play Luna in most content. (I have 16 catalysts into the character, and I LOVE playing her, but man it’s a headache to do pubs Colossi with her, and the Xbox LFG is basically dead so it’s REALLY difficult to join dedicated groups.) I’m thinking I’ll put her down till her rework, either that or just run Noise Surge Luna for the time being.

It’s difficult to assemble a good one. From 20 drops 19 are junk, similar to the reactor drops. I tried to collect a good one, then gave up, it will take too much time. I had to beat Pyro about 3-400 times to get a relatively good Slayer set, don’t expect better experience with this one unless you’re willing to accept any trash pieces just to have the set.

@dinvsl for sure, but same could be said for bravery set as there is no solo queue. Took me 4 months of avg 15 pyro kills a day to get a double gold slayer sensor. I got on the Yujin train and got an adequate sonic set healing and should be easier now glut has been nerfed. It's clearly designed for Luna and curious how it compares.

I’m thinking I’ll put her down till her rework, either that or just run Noise Surge Luna for the time being. (That one isn’t much better, but at least it’s not so heavily dependent on what your teammates are doing.) Love Luna allot but she needs a lot of work. (She also has a lot of unnecessary drawbacks and is the ONLY character in the game that can actively mess up her skills, and the minigame can get very distracting/be overwhelming to manage at times.)

Noise Surge is great actually. I made a quite strong non-crit. build with huge aura and good survivability and her AoE is like lawn mower. She is second to the broken Freyna for mob clearing. And it’s much more fun to play her that way instead of support for boss fights, where she may be useless if not matched with specific characters.

I'm on the fence about Arche Concretion. On one hand the MP values are insane, but the reduction in movement speed feels massive if you're not on nimble build making strafe dodging way more difficult. I also don't know if the ten stack bonus you get applies before or after the calculations for when you buff your team. For example... If I press Red, Blue, Purple, Auto, then enhance- is my skill going to give my team a 1.3x (3) buff (no 10 stack enhance count) or a 1.3x (13) buff? (With ten stack enhance count). If anyone knows I'd appreciate being told. I just started playing a week ago, and the game isn't very forthcoming with feedback.

Should've made her rhythm game like BPM: Bullets Per Minute (Not opposed to making it more convenient though). Make the notes actually in line with the song/beat and just have the notes be consistent with the bpm of the song. Have each song be different bpm for "variety" if needed.

Why the cooldown though? It’s not affected by Lunas cooldowns… it’s static at 8 seconds for her 2 and 12 for the 3. It only affects her 1.

It's not mislabeled, MP accel is a "cooldown" category mod, but that doesn't mean it gives cooldown.

I think ppl don't really know what "strongest" means anymore. Then again, ppl are using it wrong. She actually relies on her team to be coordinated just like the skil based characters rely on a Luna to dish out good skill damage. Same with Enzo except its just firearms. Her skills are pretty much useless to me as i can't play the mini game and fight properly at the same time. So i just use her as a defensive gun platform hiding behind the freyna's and bunnies while in a dungeon.
