Thank you for your video! I live in the UK and Essence is not easy to find "in person". I'm going home (to Portugal) this weekend and might grab 1 or 2 of those!! Luckily in Portugal, Essence is available in almost every big supermarket. I think I will go for the clear or the blue one :)

I am curious about the banana one and I'm obsessed with banana candy & scents. The original bananas we were eating 100 years ago went extinct from a vine infection. So we eat a different strain of them now (supposedly the originals were much better tasting). I learned some years ago that when you have banana flavoring for candy or cooking it tastes different because it is the taste of the original bananas. I wonder if that is true of scents like this or it just happens to be one of the weird ones.

@@sofiereichlova5519 There are many types of bananas as with most plants. The one we mainly eat today is the Cavendish type. Until the 1050s we were eating the Gros Michel banana, supposedly much better tasting, but mostly wiped out by a plant disease which the Cavendish was chosen to replace them because it's resistant to that specific one, but this could happen again. I am not an expert but bananas reproduce in a strange way and we can't easily get them back. You can look up the whole story online. I found a place that still sells Gros Michel bananas for a crazy price. I have no idea why they can't take those and regrow all the crops.
