So true, this fairy tale is. A Russian woman would save her husband from anywhere and overcome any adversity for his and her children’s sake.

So after watching Vasilisa Prekrasnaya and "The Frog Princess" I dare to say I certainly love the first ones the best (especially Prekrasnaya) and liked this version too. Kinda funny how actually these animations usually have stories like "Frog Princess" or even some other stories but with Vasilisa in them.

The men underestimate women so much that they don't know it when we are under their noses. The best man is a women who can do what men can. I feel like these are messages from two eras of feminism, and here our heroine uses it in harmony. I love her, and I wish her and her husband and bride the happiest

I think I remember her cutting her braids off, it impressed me as a child. But I didn't know anything about "women don't play chess" LOL. I used to dress up and play at being a Knight, with a sword. And a chair was the horse.

@diegodelavega36315 ай бұрын

@@daycorebang3059 well tbh, not really lesbians. It was a forced marriage as the princess knew she was a girl and kept protesting, nor can we actually say Vasilia is a lesbian, either she said that as part of her plan or to pressure the king but we dont know for a fact she was actually attracted to the princess and wanted to marry her.

Oh my god- I have been searching for this for years and years- I had this on video as a child, and never forgot it- the music especially. I'm downloading this for my ipod! I love the music, is there anywhere I can access it? Do you know if it was written for this or if it was already a piece of Russian folk music that I might be able to get another version of? I guess it would be difficult to find the score for this animation because it is so obscure, but I'd love to have it-Thank you :)
