Ok guys so Vasiliy Lomachenko pulls off a well-deserved Lightweight championship victory in Australia against George Kambosos. So look they say you can't teach an old dog new tricks but in this case, it seems like the old dog has all the tricks.
Lomachenko took this victory by applying skill; so we are talking about adept footwork to obtain vantage positions,
crafty shifts in his guard to present deceptive openings for his opponent and thus counter
and waves of multifaceted lines of attack stacked with adaptation, creativity, and savvy... all the hot seasoning that left Kambosos asking to reduce the spice to lemon and herb at Nandos.
So Loma has a belt, as he should... this should have been one of many defences of an undisputed championship. I'm still holding onto the position that Loma beat Haney but that is old news

Not surprised at all with the result. Loma has elite skills. He got robbed against Haney. Loma is vastly under appreciated.

I was there in person. Damn Vasyl was fast in person. It wasn't even a close fight. I was watching a pro beating up a amateur.

@@larryholstein7925he’s yapping , it’s not like a ton or anything but people do say this sometimes. like Loma for example he’s had 400 amateur fights (usually olympics fighters) and since it’s exclusively point based, getting hit essentially carries a lot more penalty so landing and not being hit is a lot more of the battle rather than going for the KO/Damage. it usually doesn’t get that far, they do a ton of standing counts and will usually end early via stoppage if you take too much damage or yknow you throw in the towel. Real KO’s do happen occasionally but it’s kinda uncommon. In MOST cases tho, the best Amatuer you know will probably be a decent bit worse against the freshest pro you know, the power difference alone is usually all it takes 😭 .

@@larryholstein7925there are a bunch of amateur boxers who fight Pro for YEAAARS , they’ll usually go pro but they’ll have records looking like Lomas.

Kambosos is tough and has heart, but Loma is on another level when he is healthy with no shoulder issues. I don’t think anyone can beat a healthy Loma.

Pour Kambo, ça commence par un coup de soleil et ça finit par une crise de foie... L'ancien sait : la construction d'un KO dans les petits poids prend son temps. Un mot pour l'arbitre (dont les chaînes ne parlent que rarement) : notons la classe et la discrétion de celui-ci, il est vrai bien aidé par des combattants bien disciplinés. Merci !

Vasily is a great champion and a master of boxing technique of the highest level. He also taught Haney a lesson, although visibly heavier than him and at his dehydrated weight.

Kambosos was more successful at the stare down than he was in the ring. Still if it wasn't for George we would never have got to see Lomachenko fight live in Perth.

I think comparison wise with overall abilities of these two Lomachenko & Inoue, Lima has the edge in lateral movements! but lacked the counter, & punch placements & combinations compared to NAOYA,if that lateral & head movements will add up to NAOYA’s repertoire, no one can touch him at his weight division!
