OMG - I have a bazillion cords and never thought to use velcro. I have had a HUGE wheel of beige velcro in my closet since the early 80"s. I bought them in a little junky store in the West Village and used them to keep my shoulder pads in place. Shoulder pads were BIG in the 80's and 90's. BIG in both senses of the word. Such a great video. I'm a new subscriber, so am working backwards through your videos. I thought I'd give you another use for those little folding fabric boxes. I never travel without one. When I get to my hotel, I put all of my toiletries/cosmetics inside one of those little folding boxes. It corrals everything together, and housekeeping never needs to touch any of my stuff. Also, sometimes there's not very much counter space in the hotel room bathroom, so I can always move my toiletries elsewhere so that I can free up counter space for my husband. Added bonus is that they fold flat as a pancake and take up no room in your suitcase. I leave mine in my suitcase, so I never need to remember to pack it.
