What helps me big time in the morning is setting the coffee timer at night so my coffee is ready when I get up. I also run my dishwasher at night and set my delay start on my washing machine so all I have to do in the morning is pour my coffee, switch over the laundry to the dryer, and empty the dishwasher. These are great tips! I am a night person, and some of these can be applied to us too! 1. I like to make sure the house is clean and dishes done before bed (it makes it nice when you wake up!) 2. Lining up tomorrow’s clothes! Saves time and helps prevent lounging all day in PJs. 3. Writing a few of the main things you want to remember to do the next day (but not an overly detailed list because your priorities may change around events that pop up) 4. Since my husband is a morning person, I like to get my relaxing alone time in the evening, and 5. I like to hula hoop for a little bit before bed in the living room. (It helps reduce air/bloating before bed and helps tire you out for sleeping!) In conclusion you can ALWAYS apply great habits even if you have a different time schedule! :)

I need to start...where do you recommend I start in the bible? Not sure what order to go?
@marlene96825 жыл бұрын
@@theresas2520 you may want to start with the book of John. To get to know who Jesus is. Sometimes I just ask the Lord where he wants me to read. There are times when I like to do a character study about a person and how God worked in their life. Another way is word study. Whatever your struggling with. My word is going to be discipline. I look all the scripture on that word. Type in internet all scripture on discipline. Take some memorize and meditate on a few. Ask God for a word you need. Charles Stanley has a daily devotional In Touch Ministries or you can request one to be sent to you. You can apply this to your daily reading Scripture your reading, Observation, Application and Prayer. Journal. Ask the Lord what are you saying to me. Also some worshipping and thanksgiving. Keep short account of sin in our lives asking for forgiveness and repentance. This is to develop intimate relationship with the Lord and not out a sense of duty. Hope this helps. God bless.

I needed this so much. Life has been really hectic - both because I've been promoted at work (which has made my workdays incredibly intense and stressful, causing me to just 'crash' at home) and because it's been a really, really hard year (I have lost a lot of loved ones). I'm starting therapy for PTSD after watching my friend die and am dealing with what I can only interpret as a small pre-midlife crisis (early 30s) and I haven't felt like myself for most of the year. Part of that is because I used to always have routines. I'm taking this as a sign to push myself to start going through the motions again. Thank you Brittany for always being so motivating by being so real.

Keep going you guys. Tell yourself everyday that you are strong. God said in his word that He will not give us more than we can bear. I know if I have my heart full of gratitude to God, and trusting in Him, no matter what I'm facing ( and I am facing a lot) It helps remind me that I'm not walking through life alone. He knows, and He cares. I love the song by Jeremy Camp called "He Knows" Maybe you have heard it. .

This video came at the perfect time. Going to start this routine tomorrow (first day of the week) ha! I use bronzer as eyeshadow also! I've watched other women's video on helpful tips, but I enjoy yours hand down! First thing I do when I wake up in the morning is think of 3 things I'm grateful for.

It’s a bit unrelatable since most people don’t have that machine and/or can even afford one. Also, that closet thing that takes out the humidity or something from your jackets

Well! I’m proud to say that this was so transforming. Just drinking the water was the #1 most helpful and refreshing and awakening tip. Also putting myself together is my favorite thing to do. I do a 5 min yoga stream here now and let me tell you. I am so much happier. Totally worked!! Thanks you❤️❤️❤️😭😭

I have to get up at 4:30 for my job and I tend to hit snooze 4 times then make a mad dash out the door, usually forgetting something important. I loved all of your ideas- I realized dehydration is probably one of the things keeping me lagging in the morning. Plus something as simple as making your bed forces you to exert yourself and, once you're in motion you stay in motion! I want that makeup fridge so bad, it's so cute 😍 thank you for a super useful video!

What a great morning routine! I always feel better in the morning when i get up and drink some water. I am trying to be more present and i always feel better after a workout and shower. My 2 year old is an early riser.. a 7:30am wake up would be amazing! The time change really threw my kids sleep routines for a loop. I’d love to know how you get carter to sleep and nap consistently. We also have a hatch baby sound machine (i LOVE it). I think it’s SO important to take time for yourself each day especially as a mom.

@Shelby-Anne Reid. My dermatologist in New Orleans advised taking Zinc. Also, I have read that dairy causes flare-ups. Wash your hands before washing your face. Use a clean washvloth(preferably white,) and change your pillowcase frequently and keep your hair squeaky clean.

I have to shower in the morning because it helps me wake up and right before bed since I use gel and most times work long shifts it makes me feel clean and fresh and helps me sleep better.

My morning routine is seasonal. In winter I am in hibernation, barely getting ready as needed. I get more active mornings rest of the year. I admire people living in north with dark mornings all year long. I am a morning person, but I need the sun and its light to get me started. Night is for sleep, so getting up at night is difficult 😄
