With the excellent exchange rate, they will run you less than $100. Tips: 1. Book directly with SAS. 2. For an extended thrill, try to catch her in a far northern venue such as Tromso. See the Northern Lights, one of Sissel's inspirations. This is THE jaw-dropping natural wonder of the world. 3. The winter beauty of the Scandinavian Arctic is beyond the normal sensory limits of your mind. 4. Do not try to book air travel from the US all the way to the Arctic, as they really jack the price. Buy separate tickets from SAS from Stockholm or Gothenburg to Gallivare. They run about six flights per day at $100 and are easily available locally. Again, easy to book. 5. If you wish, driving in Sweden is easy. 6. For a great experience, take the SEJ railroad overnight arctic express sleeper car from Gothenburg to Gallivare. This is all a living fairyland. i just discovered her through her album with odd nordstoga. he has done som classical music, i believe rudolpho in the barber of seville. i grew up in the 60s, woddstock and countless other music fests. i was brought up on classical. my father was a dentist and lead bassbaritone in the local opera workshop. i can go from one genre to annother but when i get in a classical mode it lasts days. i would love to go to norway

If you haven't yet, check out Jackie Evancho's version from 2013 at One Drop concert. The only time she has sung it in public. Jackie was just 12 years old at the time and had been suffering from the flu for several days before the performance. If you don't get teary eyed, then you are probably already dead!

It is from Røros, about 100 km south of Trondheim. Latitude about 62.5 N. At Mid-winter the sun would only rise about 4 degrees above horizon, so these outdoor scenes look more like March

+Janace Jarski Sissel has done at least two concerts in the US, though it has been several years. She came to Utah, at Brigham Young University, to help their Norwegian Scholarship Program celebrate Norway's 100th Anniversary of independence from Sweden. When he learned of her coming to BYU, then director of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, Craig Jessup, invited her to sing with the Choir, which she did that same weekend, I believe. This was back in April 2005. After that appearance, Jessup also invited her back to appear as the Special Guest at the Tabernacle Choir's annual Christmas Concert. in December of 2006.
