No doubt LS is a real violinist; the rest of the young ones who boast themeselves as violinists are mere fiddlers -- let's face the fact. You see numerous of them on the Carnatic stages. They think they are playing the western violin; they are all jokes; with scratchy bowing and out of tune playing they are simply mere lowly fiddlers. Thank you.

There are equally good violinists like Jyotsna Srikanth, l Shankar , Ambi Subramaniam, l Vaidyanathan, Lalgudi Jayaraman , m s Gopalakrishnan , TN Krishnan akkarai sisters and many more.

@@MrKanthikumar and to be honest I'm not impressed with playing techniques of ganesh and kumaresh . But they have good music knowledge. The are good musicians but not violinists.
