You're never too old to kick ass! Drumming keeps you young. Look up Tommy Aldridge, Peter Erskine, Virgil Donati, Neil Peart! Joe Morello played drums professionally into his 80's. Steve Gadd wasn't even getting work until he was well into his thirties. Just play! Who cares what it sounds like besides you?
