Yes, that smaller coil is better for sure, and no perceivable depth loss. I use the AT-Pro with the sniper coil in real thick areas and it works great!

I also enjoyed this more candid style of dig. It's nice that they show what's actually found in a typical hunt without all the 'profit point' bs. I'm out in similar sites several times a week with my AT Gold or AT Pro in even trashier sites (here in NM) and that 5x8 coil has found me hundreds of nice keepers, from cowboy relics to coins to jewelry to mining and Indian wars relics.

I 100% agree. The TV formula with Cha-Ching at the end gives the wrong impression of our hobby. I wish it were a bit more archaeology-like, working from a hypothesis ... "We think there was a stagecoach stop here." and set out to prove that. Isn't that enough reward?

I actually love seeing you guys work without all the noise the production company overdubs. I love the show, but find the constant beeping, and overdubbed sounds very annoying lol..We all know the things aren't constantly beeping.

These guys are the real thing!! Not fake like the show American Digger or now called Savage family Diggers watch how they swing the coils and the BOOM BABY made me stop watching all together. I used to buy there (Anaconda Treasure) Videos from Amazon back about 5 years ago before they got a TV show. I learned alot from these guys!! I just found a 50 cent 1953 the other day and I was acting just like them when I found it WHAT A THRILL IT IS!!! Somemore greats are Nuggetnoggin, and Gonehunting73

I disagree. I think that videos should reflect a bit of what we go through in the hobby. Lots of junk, lots of clad, a few keepers. A video of all-junk would be boring, but they didn't... they did a balance.

Some constructive criticism - these were not "spectacular finds." I love my AT Pro and am getting ready to purchase the Gold, but you're straining your credibility a bit with this video. Most of this stuff was run of the mill. The FD button and token were pretty cool - but rifle shell casings and iron hooks? Come on. The video would have had more impact if you'd stuck with the good finds and left the other stuff out.
