so cool. Thanks guys i showed this video to my 8 yr old daughter.I was able to show her that i'm not just being a pain in the butt. All the holes you dig must be filled and ALL finds must leave with you. I would have probably never got into detecting if it wasn't for my grandmother Anna and The Susquehanna Valley Search and Recovery team out of P.A. Hope this team is still active. we haven't been part of a detecting group since the 90's. None close to me (Mi). Thank you too Garrett for posting

Nicely shot video and good tips. Thanks dudes. Your TV show is one of the few detecting programs I have watched and it's great to see you helping other detectorists like this as many others get some sort of 'fame' and seek to exploit their followers so kudos for keeping it real. Greetings from the UK. GL&HH Pondguru P.S. Probably been said many times but KG reminds me of Woody Harrelson, lol

Thanks for the digging tips .I always use a small shovel for yards and parks.However I have seen people with huge shovels and digging deep holes.And it kinda makes me mad.because most of the coins I have dug ain't more than 4 inches deep.These people are gonna wreck it for the rest of us.I ran into a park that had a sign NO METAL DETECTING.Because people just dug up the park so they said no more.

Great video guys! I noticed the ringmaster has the small 5x8 on while hunting that open field. Anyone had any success practicing this? I love the small coil, but in the open like that?? GL & HH all!

Hi guys I've just got an AT pro which seems to be 1st generation I did lots of research b4 I bought 1 then came across bad reports on them not having cam locks on the pole which leads to false signals as it wobbles and it came with Standard coil then it seems everyone's talking about the smaller dd for sure pin pointing of small targets , it was 2. Nd hand of eBay 400 quid what's your take on these two issues please ant from Wales UK

Why use a spade. I just take the gas power auger to the park and wear an orange vest I stenciled "UTILITY" on it. No one ever questions me.

****** NEWBIE FAMILY NEED DETECTING ADVICE HELP :( ****** Hey, I have always been into treasure hunting. I can remember hiding my own toys allowing myself to forget about it and then wait until I find it then enjoy the discovery of it and the memory of why I ever hid it in the first place. I still do that with money. I recent found a 20 a hid from myself in Jan. I am ready to do some real treasure hunting. I have looked into the AT PRO I am REALLY interested in it amazon has a kit with the headphones ,pin pointer and all for a really nice price NEW. Is the AT PRO a good starter? I would like something easy to read and light weight. I watched the intro vids on the ATP and I really would like that maybe start out on standard for awhile then move to pro. Also, I have two young sons I looked at another Garrett detector for them. Any suggestions on three good starter detectors but ones that can last at least 2yrs I do not want to purchase new detectors for my boys every yr so longevity and durability would be great. Also we are in the mountains there's maybe a few ponds and streams so water resistant or water proof would be a plus as well due to the fact we do travel to beach vacas ya know.
@SamC177610 жыл бұрын
Yes, I would recommend the AT Pro. It isn't the same machine I started out with but it is lightweight, easy to use and it does get the job done. It might take a while to fully understand the detector so if you are thinking about purchasing it I would recommend you watch Garrett's AT pro instructional videos on this channel, it really helped me fully understand the detector before I purchased it.

That's what metal detecting is all about. 99 times you will return with bag of trash and eventually on your 100th dig you'll find your holly grail. ;-)

I love to M D.......but I am tired of digging up garbage and metal rings nails......pull tabs should be worth like gold.Or at least get rewarded for cleaning up useless garbage in the ground......This video should be named.......everything but coins
@SIG44210 жыл бұрын
Nectar? Really? Call it what it is named, not some iffy name. For vids like this, perhaps it's good to try in other countries as well. Showing only US searches makes it rather boring and useless for people in other countries. Not every ground is the same as in the US, my ACE 250 proofs that right. It scatters all over the place with the hard clay ground here. Or it simply ignores a lot of obvious targets for some reason. Makes the detector even nearly useless.
