I miss the old Michael Bay action films of old. I never hated them, enjoyed them for what they were. Action films got a lot worse once he was pushed out of that genre. Bay, Bruckheimer, etc. knew how to get the most out of action.

Tony Scott could keep a movie rolling too, and obviously James Cameron.

@@VaughnJogVlog Tony Scott was highly underrated. He also directed the best Tarantino movie: True Romance. Lol.

I'm like the movie, plus, the reason why they put Captain Howard's picture at Mike's wedding in the beginning of the film is because he more a father figure and mentor for Mike & Marcus for day one. Another thing is that not every action movie need a car chase all the time, however, your pitch for Bad Boys 5 is kinda lowkey peak my interest though. So overall, while I understand that most people like 1 & 2 more because of Michael Bay (which I'm like the second one, by the way cause that Electronics store scene & Reggie scene as well, lol). But I'm don't mind this film at all.

I’ve seen it, but hadn’t reviewed it here. Didn’t like it nearly as much as Fallout, but it had slipped my mind. Still, it seems they can’t do a car chase in the USA anymore. I see them in movies that are clearly shot elsewhere.

Both 3 and 4 needed more action, and they should of went over the top. With everybody wanting them dead, and also his son. Should of had more carnage and more action scenes for him. I needed michael bay action like number 2. I like the new directors as far they're shots, but they should of had michael bay direct these. Also since will and martin have chemistry. Last thing. There was no cops after them, besides the main characters and cartel wasnt after them either It was just the main characters They bullshitted me with the trailer. Talking about it's everybody against the bad boys smh. I agree with everything your saying. The action scenes we're very short. Like just when you get into them they are over smh!!! The writers did a bad job on this script. I think it was rushed. I like the movie. Going to see it again. I still think it could of been better though. It's definitely not the franchise I was used too. I though when bad boys 3 was announced. We we're going to get classic bad boys as far as alot of action, but just in modern times with new technology. But no!! Can you imagine michael bay directing this movie. With the concept of the bad boys being fugatives and everybody after them. This would of been crazier than 2. Now of course. Michael would want a massive budget, but that would of been nice to see.

Agreed. And the "Boys" never wear the handcuffs as show in the poster. It's weird that they are on the run... but not. Like wouldn't that have been a natural setup for an epic car chase? I still can't make sense of the plot. I'm convinced it's just to achieve the objective of freeing Armando for future use in the franchise. In the 21 years since Bad Boys II, I can't name a movie that delivers more action. And despite having less action, I never felt the original was dull. Nor is it the modern "action-comedy' like Kevin Hart and Dwayne Johnson would make. They had allotment for comedy and action in the scripts.

@@VaughnJogVlog right tje original wasnt dull neither, didn't have that much action, but tje action it did have packed a punch and had that oomffff to it!!!!
