@@colman123456 Xan started streaming as a teenager and he was kinda insufferable at first but after a while you could watch his prefrontal cortex developing in real time and it was such a stark difference, I was really impressed with his growth. Then he fell out with Keffals and I feel like it's been downhill from there, like he'll just burn bridges left and right over minor transgressions instead of communicating like an adult, and whatever it's his life, he can do what he wants but I feel like he accidentally (or semi-intentionally?) fostered an audience whose main fuel is burnt bridges and man, it's bad now.

It's so weird listening to someone who doesn't know about the situation on tourism here in Spain. In lefty circles and in increasingly more socdem spaces it's talked about plenty. I'm not qualified to fully explain it but I wished he covered it on some stream... the "not poor Greek island" bit, for example. Barcelona has well off neighborhoods, but that's like a lil bit of the city and there's tons of other places around just the mediterranean spanish coast than Barcelona. this is the first stream i have ever thumbed down. i have been a viewer since 2021 i think. the reason for my displeasure at this particular stream was the biden speech section. full disclaimer, i have had growing disinterest in his content since the beginning of the fortress arc which arguably never ended and i have since relied on Jerimiah exclusively to weed out the fashion segments. as of late - politically at least - vaush has argued for biden to step down. i understand that he advocates for voting for the man but the constant attacks from the left against what is effectively the only existing bulwark against the impending fascist takeover of our nation in the wake of the recent supreme court decisions is extremely disheartening. i think this behavior was best exemplified during the speech itself. i have watched enough vaush content to know that vaush was probably answering emails or some other administrative thing during the speech but some moments were legitimately good and he exclusively criticized biden until the post speech wrap up. for instance one of the few times he did look away from his phone or emails was to ask if biden was going to (in an official campaign rally) talk about epstien allegations while the man was talking about convictions that had legally confirmed accusations of SA. i dont know if vaush wants a sitting president to commit actionable slander but that would be what would happen if he brought up the Epstein shit. i know the man is a bag of bones. he's a walking corpse. however the power of the incumbency is a force so great that only a few presidents have lost it. being such a scrutinized character on the internet, i think vaush should be well aware what criticism without due praise can do, especially on a scale as large as its happening right now. i am in no way saying that vaush has to suck the guy off in all circumstances but i will say that i think he is being overly critical. idk what type of shit xan is on right now but i know vaush doesnt want trump to win. however unrelenting signaling to the massive audience that biden is bad is extremely irresponsible. finally i have a content recommendation. why not recap all of the incredible legislation that has been passed under this administration? i get it. the fucker cant talk but talking doesnt matter. doing matters. worker rights have been massively increased under this adim. they decriminalized cannabis, and announced federal pardons for prior non-violent convictions related. they had partial student debt relief despite constant interference. shit like that. a term in review if you will. i dont even know at this point. i am starting to see this channel as an "alex jones of the left" type of deal. all there is here is fear mongering and when the audience expresses some sort of genuine fear, vaush just times them out because it doesnt seem like he can deal with the fear he inspires. its almost like he doesnt understand that he is the one who his audience goes to and they are getting the fear from him.
