Not saying you should live on black beans, but if you take as a representative it's clear you can eat a diverse range of cheap whole plant foods and easily hit huge protein numbers for cheap. The idea that meat is where you get your protein is literally propoganda by trillion dollar international mega corporations with public documents where they say their key annual goals are to fund research exclusively showing meat is healthy and conduct advertising to increase the proportion of mothers of young children who believe meat is essential for a healthy diet. Their message being around impressionable children is the key measure of their success.

By far vaush's shittiest takes are when it comes to growing food and gardening. Home or local gardens can produce a crazy amount of food with far less environmental harm (it actually benefits the environment). In just a small backyard i grew more than enough to feed myself and a good chunk of the neighborhood. I literally had people coming from different cities to get free vegetables from me 😂

ngl I kinda disagree with vaush whenever he wants to take the dunk on liberals enabling fascism. tbh a lot of the people most fervently opposed to trump who take the most ambitious actions against him and the rest of the gop are in fact liberals, leftists frankly seem too preoccupied with complaining about the liberals to make any significant or meaningful moves against fascism. That's not to say there aren't weaknesses and blind spots to liberalism, or that leftists are always wrong for critiquing liberals, there are definitely some types of liberalism that are completely unequipped to combat fascism yet simultaneously some of the strongest fighters still seem to be liberals, so part of me is inclined to think being anti-fascist has nothing to do with liberalism vs leftism. I just remain fairly unimpressed with the actions of the part of the left that is allegedly so much more committed to fighting fascism.

I don't think you really understand the situation then. Yeah the majority of people fighting Trump are Liberals, because Liberals are the largest political faction in the United States. There's going to be a broad range of people who identify as Liberals. It also sounds to me like you just don't understand what a Liberal is to begin with? Its a form of Capitalism. Not all Capitalists are Liberals, but all Liberals are Capitalists. You are aware we're in this mess because of Liberals? Obama, Clinton, Biden, and now Harris have had every opportunity to combat Trump in a much more meaningful and effective way and yet they don't, because they share a Capitalist interest with him. You also chose to ignore a pretty large historical precedent and examples of Liberals leading into Fascist Dictatorships that's happening RIGHT NOW. Italy, Germany, France, and Canada are four big ones that stand out in my mind right now.
