Check the cam lobes have not turned on the camshafts,

Be careful maybe the customer didn’t want to pay the other garages to take the valve cover off. It would not be hard to diagnose timing been out . Some customers are not to be trusted, good luck though

chain guides break on these and timing jumps. also pistons crack from poor remapping.

As soon as I read the title I knew it had a jumped timing chain, most likely also has bent inlet valves and cracked valve guides.

How would you possibly know from the title that the timing had jumped? I’m intrigued, we could have titled this feature numerous names 😅

Not so, it’s about stringently isolating and tracking the actual fault from the ground up, then repairing it

Bent valves on NO 1 cylinder caused by slack chain and timing jumping caused by shit plastic chain guides!!! What happened to alloy and rubber one,s!!!FUK THEY MAKE SUM SHIT NOWADAYS!!
