This also fixes the common bcm fault due to battery low voltage or battery dies common on 2006 to 2014 all engines. All you need to do after resetting the clocks and the bcm and programming transponder then resetting the airbag module taking key out in between as you mentioned I've fixed many just came across your video months later lol what a great video

Just fixed a corsa d it did say needed to replace ecu how ever followed your guide and managed to fix it thanks again

Also does the sdm part number really have to be identical as I have used other part numbers for other control units before as long as they are off the same model car ?

have,nt done much coding other than some injectors, vag com is good and the Ross Tech site has all the info for anyone that's working on vw/audi/seat and some skodas. latest version of vag com is called HEX=NET and ross tech wiki is the where all the good techy stuff is

Hi Sandy, I stumbled across this video whilst looking for help with our car. We are using a Corsa D for motorsport and need to remove the complete airbag system. I've got all the airbags and sensors out, and have got all the wiring to the SDM unit out except= black (earth) yellow/purple (12v) and on the other plug the two thin greens (CAN communication). My question is: do you have any ideas how we can get the car to run without the SDM? Its really down to those 2 greens now - cheers Martyn

Hello Sandy, I've been in touch with an airbag specialist whose techncian says that B1000 airbag ECU and B0051 squibs energised can be cleared by them and will solve the airbag light /airbag working issue. I'm inclined to give it a try for £60+vat. Just wandering if it's likely to be that simple. I guess the only way to find out is to give it a try as either way I have to do something with the airbag module. Would you agree?

yes that sounds fair enough, just wondering now because it is Corsa D model maybe, although not sure, cheap vauxcom could reset airbag module as this guy does in video kzbin.info/www/bejne/n3jXZKpopqiae9k i take the airbags were deployed during crash and have been replaced?

thanks and yes airbags were deployed, car is accident repaired. Everything else works perfectly

Hello Sandy, I wonder if you could help me. I have bought my son a 2013 corsa d damage repaired 1,2 only to find there's no airbag light. B1000 ECU and B00051 squib circuits activated. Not sure how to resolve without going in to Vauxhall. Would a replacement module sort the issues. MOT due Dec. Can you make any suggestions?

Hello with the corsa being a 2013 model vauxcom will not work, contact www.vauxhallpartsuk.com as he may give u advice, I would think u at the very least need a airbag/SDM moudule as I think they cannot be reset, sorry I cannot be of more help, sandy

You must have the wrong security code for SDM

I have a issue where I cannot communicate with the sdm and ipc? It wont communicate with them atall when I click on them using opcom and when I do a check to make sure everything is online everything is present bar sdm and ipc ut says cant communicate.does this mean the problem is with the ipc and sdm ? The airbag light on the dash is not flashing

Yes I would agree there is a problem with SDM and IPC but u need to check that they have power, grounds and CAN COMMUNICATION on the correct pins! Do other modules report U Codes about SDM/IPC?

@@sandyande Ya when I scanned the bcm I got wrong environment for both the ipc and sdm and I cleared them and refreshed and did not return until I powered down everything and started over and I got the sdm and ipc codes again.i then went to try and access the sdm unit and it would just say ECU needs more time and would never load data and it was the same for the ipc.then when I did the check to see if all the modules are present it says no communication with ipc and sdm.everything else is present.this all began after the car was jumpstarted and damaged the bcm.i assumed the bcm was causing the coms issue with the ipc etc.so I replaced the bcm and programmed the new 1 and am still left with no coms to ipc and sdm.the airbag light does not light up when I turn on the ignition either.is their a airbag or srs fuse that could be causing this
