Vauxhall mokka heater matrix pipes leaking fix

Hi. Good job on addressing this specific issue. I have an Opel Mokka 1.4 turbo petrol. I had this leak and replaced the rubber rings today. I am now waiting to see if it will leak again or not. Not sure if the connector is damaged or not. Did you maybe have a sound of air in the pipes when you pressed the accelerator paddle? And if yes - was it gone after this replacement? Thank you.

No mate nothing like that just losing water

@@baddzgarage9982 Thank you for the reply. It looks like I had this issue because of the bad o-rings. Water was leaking and the air was slowly getting inside the hose(s). After replacing the rubber o-rings both issues seem to be resolved. Hopefully it will stay like that.

Thanks for the Video, have mine to do. What ever happened to the hoses being held onto the matrix with jubilee clips.

​@@baddzgarage9982apparently Vauxhalls recommended fix is to do exactly that and do away with the connector.

@68xperfectx it wouldn’t do it any harm cause that’s what I would do if they kept leaking but it was a nice easy fix

I have this issue, for the whole matrix replacement would this be a complete dash off job?

I would guess yes it would need to all come out but if the matrix was leaking it would be wet inside the car
