@@mountjoy23 I had never heard of Dave Metcalfe, but I saw footage of Ragnoti in the Clio, and hearing the story through Nicky's voice I had to come see what he was talking about and this is amazing. To imagine the sense of confusion of other drivers in much more powerful Sierra Cosworth's looking at the classification sheets is crazy I would pay to see that. Amazing piece of driving.

We never got to see him in a full blown rally car, I'm sure he would have been brilliant, he was testing the Vauxhall Calibra 4x4 at the time of his death. R I P Dave.

The most surprising thing is that, unlike street Vauxhalls, which have the steering wheel on the right side, when it comes to rally Vauxhalls, the steering wheel is on the left. And instead, the circuit Vauxhalls have them on the right side as well. I don't know why he drives it on the left, as the Opel Kadett and Corsa GSI rally cars have them on the left as well, but a left-hand drive Vauxhall... No comment. Speechless.

That is driving. That Corsa nee Nova has not business going that quick. My memory fades but I believe he finished ahead of sierra cosworths. It was a n/a 1.6 with 8 valves fgs. Star absolute star.

He finished 4th overall behind three Subaru Legacy RS's of Kenny McKinstry, Bertie Fisher and Colin McRae and ahead of three Ford Sierra Cosworths' of Gary Leece, Alister McRae and Trevor Smith and Mark Higgins in a Vauxhall Nova.
