Done! I use vacuum cleaner to clan the plastic box... 20 € and 30 minutes

I changed my filter today, 2 things you haven’t fitted your new filter properly, it needs to click into place at the back, also the screws that hold the air box together are captive so you don’t need to take them right out , apart from that great job 😂 and I forgot you don’t need to unplug the MAF sensor

@@YigitSoylu Hallo, weißt du wie man einen Außenspiegel wechselt? Nicht nur das Glas, sondern auch die obere und untere Abdeckung sind kaputt. Muss ich das durch die Innenseite der Tür erreichen? oder gibt es einen einfachen Weg? vielen Dank im Voraus!!

Hi Rifrider, also beim J war das noch so dass man die Tür öffnet und auf Höhe des Spiegels 2 Schrauben am Türrahmen Innen zu demontieren sind. Kabel usw. befinden sich unter der Abdeckung. Ist aber etwas komplizierter zu erklären. Am besten suchst du mal nach dem J. Der Ausbau wird nahezu gleich sein.

@@YigitSoylu das ärgerliche am astra h ist, dass der spiegel an der tür und nicht am rahmen montiert ist. das macht es viel komplizierter. Ich fürchte, dafür muss die Türverkleidung ab.

The air filter element isnt secured. It has to "click" in by pushing the center black part. Pull-check to ensure fixed.

Strange. In my Astra K 1.4 gasoline, the air pipe that you start with is connected at the back of the filter box. Otherwise, concept is the same, thanks!

Thanks for showing me. Just got a used Astra Sport Tourer 1,4 Turbo aut. (K - B16) 2019. Would a "sport filter" do anything sporty to the veihcle?

I have the fuel filter changed at the dealer. find it a bit difficult at home without equipment

Do I have to take off that elastic tube completely off or only loose one side is enough ? I ask because I have some connections in to this elastic tube.

it's enough if you just loosen it up. Had everything taken out in the video so that you can clean them. The connection can be removed if you want to take everything out.

Hi, I don't currently plan to change the coolant, but in January there may be an oil change with a filter which I will then record.

I strongly assume. Shouldn't be more difficult than changing the oil. But when do you change the cooling water 😅

@@YigitSoylu Thanks for the video. I did not expect how strange the design of this air filter and taking so much space in engine bay. I used to work with Honda and Toyota, it takes me only 30 seconds to change it. Just 2 or 3 clips lift it up and swap. Well, it is indeed Opel when it is still part of GM.

I fail to see the need to unplug the connector for the air flow metering device as seen around the 1:15 timestamp. Also i would think it would be possible to change the airfilter without disconnecting the flexible hose as seen from the 0:03 timestamp. (The hose is flexible so it should be possible to just flip up the top of the air filter box to get access to the filter).

Hi, sry für die späte Antwort. Ja Leider, auch der Ölfilter ist unten. Der Dieselfilter ist auf höhe hintere rechte reifen. Sollte ich mal auf meine Auffahrrampe fahren mach ich höchstens ein Video dazu wo der genau liegt. Möchte da keine sauerei hinterlassen 🙈

Did you notice..your old air filter still had its protective packaging non-woven material around it? ..And you put the new one it STILL with its protective packaging on!!! It’s wrapped around as a sleeve to protect from damage it transit and is NOT part of the filter..it should be removed!

No, that's really the case 😅 The air filter you see there is actually the original that was used during production.

@@YigitSoylu NO..Many on YT have made the same mistake..you need to take the filter out and remove that outer sleeve it’s NOT part of the filter ..it’s ONLY protective packaging!

@@YigitSoylu Yes..my main Vauxhall dealer in UK made the same mistake..!!! Only reason I found out was looking at different brands of filter ..they had different types of packaging wrapped around the filter!

Wartungsfreundlich ist was anderes.... Früher konnte man Luftfilter ohne Werkzeug ersetzen.... 😤

Finde ich auch. Wenigstens lassen sich die H7 Lichter schnell wechseln. Beim Corsa keine Chance mit großen Händen.
