Vax Platinum | Using the hose and tools

My brush bar wasn't spinning and I found one of the brush heads was broken - (the one with the long piece of plastic that slots into a hexagonal socket on the body of the machine) had broken off where it fitted into the brush bar. I was disgusted that it had broken as I had only had the machine for 13 months and used it 5 times. I rang Vax and spoke with a very helpful lady called Terri who got me to check that the hexagonal socket that the brush bar fits into was rotating, and as it was she organised for a replacement brush bar to be sent - which came 3 days later. Terri was so helpful that when I accidentally cut off the call mid investigation into the fault she immediately called me back so I would not have to ring in again and be stuck in the inevitable queue. Well done Terri, all organisations need a dedicated staff member like Terri.

It’s really hard to lift the tab to remove the tools from the hose. It feels if I push the clip too hard it will snap. The clip also has sharp corners so I can’t even lever it off. I’m currently stuck with one head and can’t change it!

Bought one in december and used the head wand once and went to use it in the car today and it doesnt work anymore. Shocking product and when trying to contact costumer service, no one answer the phone. 50 minutes waiting on the line. Gave up in the end. Now have a carpet cleaner that half work! Rate zero!
