1:50:58 how to learn the weekly parsha daily
@SeamsToCultivateDignityАй бұрын
1:51:35 one of the ways to do this is as follows:
@SeamsToCultivateDignityАй бұрын
Read once on Sunday without commentary. Should take an hour or 1/2 hour. Ideally in Hebrew. If you don't understand Hebrew, then best to read in your own language.
@SeamsToCultivateDignityАй бұрын
Read one Aliyah each day beginning on Monday. That's the Rashi commentary.
@SeamsToCultivateDignityАй бұрын
Getting it all in at the first of the week is the best defense for you.
@SeamsToCultivateDignityАй бұрын
Read again the parash on Shabbat. This fulfills the "reading Chumash 3 times in one year" - per this Rabbi's statement

Shalom, Rabbi! What is the best way for a non-jew to approach God in prayer? Father, King, Lord or something else? I heard from one rabbi that God calls only jews His children, then it turns out I can’t address Him as Father?

Kvod ha rav is very curious that the worst descendent from esav was elifas,if im not mistaken he was the only one that learned with yaacov. Why do you think he didnt had the merit to be a tzadik after all he didnt kill yaacov and behaved good for a period in his life.
@YaronReuvenRabbiАй бұрын
he chose to follow evil and lost his merit, just like his father esav did. Esav was supposed to be father of 6 of the shvatim and Yaakov father of the other 6. But since Esav chose evil, he lost everything. Everyone has a choice. Choose wisely.

Thank you Rav

Rav, why the pasuk says that shimon and levy killed all men and then in the next pasuk it says that they killed jamor and shejem by the sword? Isnt it extra this pasuk? To say they killed all men should be enough
@YaronReuvenRabbiАй бұрын
chamor and shechem were the king and his son and thereby distinguished from the rest of the people.
