How does the edison format work?

You are only allowed to use the cards that were legal during SJC Edison in April 2010. That's basically how every Retro YGO format works. You pick a time in YGO's history and only play with the cards that were legal at that specific time.

Yes! What he said! So you’re very limited on cards but the beauty of it it’s that theirs a lot of decks that are top tier! It all depends on the pilot. And it’s a slower game but more strategic I personally like it better than the rest
