I would definitely say it was worth it👌🏼 the BMPCC6K Pro is awesome as well, but owning the RED has allowed me to learn more and that’s worth it for me.

This is so good. Limited use of slo-mo (maybe 1 shot?) and the colors look like they should. I’m so tired of the same slo-mo b-roll of of someone’s girlfriend walking through a field and a lut slapped on the top. Keep it up!

Depends on your use and budget! I love Black Magic but the Komodo has been my sidekick for over a year and I wouldn’t have it any other way👌🏼

@ 00:18 and 00:47 You can see other cars in the background. You will almost NEVER see other cars in a car commercial unless it is from the same brand and it was intentional. All the shots of the moving Bronco were just handheld pans, some really good gimbal work would have lifted the production value.

Yeah, those were my thoughts too, definitely find a different curve that's empty of vehicles, and then maybe 3 different looks on the gimbal doing car-to-car rollers would have been perfect. The handheld work was superb though :)

Been diving into your channel and need to know something. Lots of cameras have bad motion cadence (including the Komodo). But the motion in your footage looks as good as the Alexa. How are you doing it?! Did you adjust the shutter angle, do something special in post, etc?

What’s up Heroa! I definitely appreciate the feedback, but honestly I do nothing special. My shutter is set to 180, and other than that, my biggest focus is my exposure/camera movements. Definitely pumped it shows well🤘🏼🔥 Best, Keepitcity

Thank you very much!! I shoot R3D only, it’s so robust and capable!! ProRes is awesome as well but file size is so similar I rather get the 16bit and RAW!!🔥 everything was graded using Davinci Resolve!! 🤘🏼
