Thank you!🙏🏼 and I believe this was shot in 3:2 1.5x mode! (If I remember correctly) I could have also been running full sensor and de-squeezing on monitor! It’s been a while!😅

Thank you!🙏🏼 And thats a hard one, but the Ronin 4D is hard to beat for a solo operator since you can pretty much do anything shot wise without support from anyone. The RED is also amazing but you are limited without further rigging or support! When it comes to the lenses, both are good but I would say I enjoy the out of camera look more from the Blazars and the fact they are PL I can use them with all my rigs. The Siruis are amazing as well for the size and work amazingly with the 4D! And I can make them look how I like with adding some barel distortion to counter the pin cushin! Not sure if that helps but both systems have been epic. Best, Shawn

OMG! This is amazing. I have been looking into getting this exact rig for almost a year now. Not sure how I missed this video. Did you use the internal stabilizer for this video, or shoot on a gimbal? Also, I saw in the comments that this is the silver flare.. Did you add some of the amber/warm tones in post? Amazing shots. Such a great video!

Thank you!🔥 and internal stabilization was off, and it was all handled🙏🏼 it was during sunset so the warm tones were already there but I did push them more in the grade!🤙🏼 more coming soon!

Appreciate the footage! I didn't notice any barrel distortion / swimming on these! Did you apply a correction in post or was it just the normal footage desqueeze?

Thank you!🔥 And other than the de-squeeze no distortion removal was applied, so just normal footage! I have overall been quite impressed with these little lenses. From what I see, the internet either hates them or loves them, but its just another paint brush to me!🙏🏼 (and an affordable one at that lol)

Hey man, love your videos! Your work on the ronin 4D videos made me buy the camera. Everything has worked great so far, it’s just been the auto focus for manual lenses that keeps bugging me, the focus keeps getting stuck on noses and glasses on people, have you ever run into this issue?

Whats up Eric!! That means a ton, thank you!!🙏🏼 And I am pumped we have another one on the platform, the Ronin 4D is unde-rated IMO!! How many depth points are you adding when calibrating your lenses? I max mine out every time I forget exactly how many you can do but I used them all and the autofocus has been amazing! It can jump to their nose or glasses as it attacks the closest object, I would say stop down a bit in situations like that maybe like a 2.8+! (till they release something that can distinguish the different parts of the face) Hope this helps! Shawn

So far I have been on 2.8-4 in aperture, so It seems it will just grab the first thing on the face, I haven't seen other people run into this issue, so hopefully your advice of more depth points will work :) All the best, Eric

These are the silver flare! Or some companies call them neutral, I typically do not purchase with Amber or blue flare unless I had a specific use case I found that I can use silver/neutral more often because at times it can be subtle! Not sure if that helps🔥🙏🏼

You should be able to get a similar look on any of the Fujifilm cameras that shoot 10 bit🙏🏼also you can use any anamorphic lenses you like with it, I used an external monitor to see the image properly and compose🔥

I didn’t see any problems with stacking on my end🙏🏼 I was rocking a 77-82mm step up ring as well as the CPL/VND + a Glow Mist 1/4th with no issues🔥

Whats up CineAmaniacs! I was honestly shocked myself when trying to find content on the camera, not much out there at all! That being said, I have some content in the works so hopefully I can support with content being low with this camera!🤙🏼🚀 The global shutter has been AMAZING, I loved my Komodo when I had it and getting the same look on a VV size sensor has really been a treat. I can't really speak on the standard V-Raptor since I never got to shoot with it, but from my understanding and research the image quality is similar but the X provides the expanded highlights option (it is actually pretty epic) as well as the global shutter and some added frame rates and enhanced internal audio pre amps! Its been an insane rig to own and daily that is for sure🔥🙏🏼 Best, Shawn

Thank you very much! The Athenas I have not shot with personally, but I have been on set with other cinematographers using them! They are really nice lenses, clean, small and fast! It really depends what your needs are though, either way you cant go wrong!🙏🏼🔥

If your going for 2:4:1 export its not bad at all! But they do perform best in Super 35🙏🏼

I use the "NiSi ATHENA PL-DJI DX Adapter for PL Mount Lenses to DJI DL Mount Cameras" I havent shimmed any of my lenses yet! (not the best plan of attack for me haha, but they have all been great out of box so far) I would have to say my favorite lens off tops has been the 58mm! BUT I love them all pretty equally lol
