Dude, this is great. Long time VBA excel coder and I was getting tired of the "Lets drag a database onto a form " style tutorial. Thank you for a. showing some real coding to make the app more slick, b. showing the coding so I can learn the various commands, c. showing your thinking on the fly. Great video. keep them coming.

There is a much easier way to do this involving text documents. Also, My program displays all the person's information in the text boxes when you select their name from the listbox. I even have it to where you can choose a photo for each person and it will also show up in the picture box when you select them from the list.

sure. as soon as i upgrade my pc i will make a video. this one has been crashing when rendering videos so i had to put several projects on hold til i got better hardware. but sub to me to keep up to date when i release the video if you want.

can you make an advanced video for populating a tree view by data from the database? for instance maybe showing the amount of records that person as a student may have, if student a has been there for 3 years which is 6 semesters it will show 6 records under that students name.

Guessing you dont need the help anymore but its just DialogResult.Yes in newer versions of vb

If you have the combobox set up, just just Combobox1.text instead of Textbox1.text
