IMPORTANT!! READ!!! FIRST I WANT TO THANK YOU FOR THE VIDEO. THIS REALLY WORKS...... BUT............... Before you do this, keep in mind that problems can arise. some people's USB C port stop working. The laptop gets hot. . the computer becomes unstable sometimes the fps is even lower than before. you change the bios and that entails risks. I have not seen a way to restore the computer with a similar bios flash. So please be careful this could be the best thing that happened to you or the worst. if you are not used to dealing with BIOS, don't do this. buy a new computer or have someone help you with this if you run into problems. I don't have much experience with BIOS and saw that several people wrote about these problems in the comments field. sorry for the bad english i use google translate.

Hey i have a question, i flashed my vbios to 105watts but on heavy gaming my GPU is taking the 105watts and letting the CPU with only 15watts resulting in cores speed of 2.0ghz what makes poor perfomance! Do you have any idea how we can solve this ? or if theres any 80watt vbios ? i been searching everywhere but i found nothing!

You need more wattage charger.. i did the same… i5-12450h and rtx4060 105watt doesnt work with 120 watt charger.. i upgraded to 180watt charger and now the cpu is normal

If it's the other way around, my laptop cooling system can't handle 105W. I want 80W to stay within the temperature limit of 76 celsius. What should I do in this case? Is there any way to edit the native backup .rom ?

After your vbios flash using your steps my laptop gpu temperature has reached 85 and I want to lower it so should I undervolt it on afterburner or do something else? Also I used the same rom file as you and my tgp is 105 W instead of 85 W so idk if that is probably why it’s heating up a lot

Yes I do have the Cyborg 15 as well. I realized that some different softwares shows me different results for example GPU-Z tells me it is 85w. Which tool do you use? I also reach temperature up to 90 degrees, for me the best solution was just to get a laptop cooling station, I went for the IETS GT500 which cool it down to around 70-75 degrees while gaming.

@@linobanfi1234 I don’t have the cooling pad like the person in the video which means my gpu temps are off the roof so I took it off. I like the Cyborg 15 due to its relative cheap price and efficiency and slightly better battery. But if you care about gaming only then this laptop isn’t the one for you. You should try get a refurbished 3070 laptop if u can since it’ll be roughly same price

hey, thanks for the video. I really need your help, I have a g15 5510 laptop and it can not switch from intel gpu to my rtx 3060 for display adapter , therefore when I try to flash the vbios the nvflash cant find my 3060..... is there a way to get around that? thanks

Hey, that sounds like a unique issue. You could try to set on the BIOS it on PEG (Pci E Graphics) to select the primary device. That will force the laptop to use the GPU as a primary output

It should be okay as long as you BACKUP and have another gpu (preferably iGPU in your CPU) to get the screen.

Msi gf63 works.. 20 fps more but using a 180watt charger now the 120 is not enough.. also its running hot around 90 degrees with this 105watt bios.. so i reverted back to 45watt bios.. can i use the 105watt bios and let the temps go down? The msi gf63 had only 1 fan.. shitty design

Which MSI GF63 did you try this on? The 12VE with the RTX 4050 45W? Also, did you try using a cooling pad like the IETS GT500? Heard they can reduce temps by atleast 10 degrees.

Sorry for the late reply, you efinitely need a different vBIOS for your RTX3050, do you know the exact model of your Cyborg15? As long you get the right vBios you can follow every step like in that video

No it's not, I have a Digital Power Meter. The power draw is stuck at 115, so after try this tutorial i got power limit on my cpu that caused stuttering when playing some game like FF7 Remake when on a high load. even got more averagefps (a little) my device is unstable (i am using cooling station to cool down my device so its not thermal thottrle). Because of that i reflash my vbios to 45 and i thinks its a more safe and best option for me now.

@@sizaldebaranhad the same case in RE4 remake, got a few more avg fps in game, but on the same time CPU was on heavy load and power limited and the game became a little bit glitchy. So for that purpose I bought myself a charger from msi katana 15, 180wattage power, I will keep you updated if it helps

Well, 180 watt charger from msi katana gave me small results, cpu is not power limited, but the battery drains anyway(ac plugged)

I have the msi cyborg 15 a12v I guess. I don't really know anything about undervolting or overclocking. I do know most games I'm playing, like Spider-Man, has no option for me to increase the graphic resolution. Let alone try it on Ray tracing. Should I download MSI afterburner? Thanks

Afterburner for temp check or fps counter cpu temps etc. Msi center for putting on performance mode. Bios also set to performance or leave balanced. Control panel also put on power option on performance.

​@@bestia270i did it i swapped my rtx 4050 45watt to 105 watt. man it feels so powerful now but yeah the temps are a bit high. It's been a month and it's still fine even though i had to buy a new adapter because the 120watt adapter is too weak the battery started draining
