I did not know a few of those keys.. But the AI yard - Basically gives you forward and reverse. Then you can select the number of "car lengths" to move . If a train is in the way it slows to 3 mph and couples up. Yard operations are great, but semi-manual. You can command a loco and then go elsewhere to do something. My railroad is only small at the moment. Bryson is the end of line and Not bought the interchange extension yet. But the gland connector and map buttons are awesome to know. Thank you. :D

"Your Guy" is necessary to rerail vehicles, and to operate turntables. FInd the Turntable or Derailed vehicle, press Ctl-T on the ground (not the turntable bed), then you can interact with the thing you want (turntable controls are in the hut).

Company Screen (i) - Equipment list also gives Follow/Select buttons for each locomotive (rather than looking for it on the map). - Locations list also allows instant transport, using the arrow box next to the sublocation: eg Whitier Engine Service has 3 sublocations: Repair Track, Coaling Tower & Diesel Fueling Point (if unlocked). Putting the mouse over the name of the sublocation will highlight the extent of the tracks which form it - it's how I discovered that many stations/depots have 2 active tracks.

easier to just press R for the engine roster, which lets you access the control sheet and jump to all the engines you own with a single click

Hi! I learned a LOT from this vid! I will say that last night I set a fusee and ran my loco backwards with 3 cars attached, it had stopped the LAST CAR right at the fusee, not the loco itself. Not sure if that is something they fixed, or maybe it was my gamemode or what. But I love this game so far!

I move the engine menu from the right side of the screen to the left side just above the manual controls. Keeps from jumping back and forth. Seems like it makes kicking cars easier having the loco controls and car menu together.

You can go up to 4 when coupling it won't cause any damage

Very nice explanation, but if I want to follow a certain train I use Ctrl R then I see all the trains I own and I can choose faster.
