TD is a married EMT. Looking sad comes with the territory 😅 But yes, we do love him, more than a First Gen Leatherman Charge!

That's because he named it "VBOK" for some strange reason. I literally just found it after thinking he never posted a Part III.

I would try not to cry because I don't want to get unnecessarily dehydrated. And I would definitely camp and wait for the sun to come up. I guess I'm as resilient as any 70 year old lady, but the conditions you described are for the young and hardy. ❤

Would TD consider doing a vid for young adults 18to 23,a guide to defensive firearms, pitfalls ,etc, good vid ,just bought my first ar15 last week,a spikes tactical 12 inch barrel straight pull(I'm in Scotland so no semi autos larger than .22lr)shot it oot to 200meters and it was spot on ,very pleased (peeps in the club were not pleased with the concussion, shall get a suppressor 😊)aw the best from sunny Troon Scotland 😊

Cold Steel Trail Hawk with the haft trimmed to 16" weighs just north of a pound at 18.6oz and slips right into the side of a Redwing 50. Can be used for wood work, weapon work, hammer work, and more with a little creativity. I carved a little notch in mine that lets me use it as a pistol brace. They're super useful. The beauty of a traditional tomahawk vs an all-steel tactical one is that the head is friction fit, so it can be taken down for easy packing/concealment if needed, as well as skinning and some other knifework, and should the haft break you just find the right size stick lying around, slide the head on there, and you're back in business. Well worth the weight IMHO. Also, I have used an el cheapo stainless rocket stove made by Ohuhu for all my hunting/hiking for about 7 years now and they're awesome. Grab a pack of Esbit style alcohol tabs for quicker convenient cooking and as backups in case there's no fuel and you're golden in any situation, including cold and altitude, at well under a pound total system weight.
